Scoop 21 Yackandandah

What an excellent little cafe that has opened up In Yackandandah. This cafe has a purpose other than to serve great ice cream and drinks and that is to proved employment options to those with special needs such as being on the spectrum. The ice cream was sensational - cinnamon I cream was my choice. The milkshakes and iced coffees great. The service was super friendly and the ambience quirky. You can sit inside or outside in the cute little courtyard. Highly recommend for the ice cream and drinks but also for the purpose of giving folks a go at employment!

A beautiful little cafe to stop at on our way back to Melbourne!

The most delicious ice cream and sorbet I’ve had in a long time- the blood orange sorbet along with the cardamom and orange ice cream pair delectably and is a sure fire stop for anyone stopping through the area.
We were served by two lovely young men (we just popped our head in the first time) who were both extremely polite and helpful.

Can’t wait to return with other friends and family!

Interesting to find this unique cafe on a trip to Yack. It wasn’t exactly a hot day but was sunny enough for us to stop for coffee and ice cream ;) They have heaps of local gundowring ice cream which is really good stuff - better than most ice cream out there. We had pistachio and salted caramel, both were delicious. Coffee (flat white) was good too. When waiting to pay we noticed a little sign mentioning this place hires people with different abilities (aka disabilities), which is pretty cool. Surprised they don’t advertise that fact more, but I guess that’s the point. Keeping it naturally inclusive without banging on about it. That’s down to earth! Well worth a visit, we’ll be back next we’re in yack!

The empty courtyard & welcoming staff at Scoop 21 provided welcome respite on a hot day. Artisan pizzas made with gourmet standard, fresh ingredients (REAL ham off the bone, fresh tomatoes & basil). Artisan Gundowring ice-cream & very dog friendly.

Congratulations on the opening of Scoop 21. Feels like a go to place for cuppas and the hot day ice cream
