I stopped in town to buy some beer for the road. Not only did i discover that the general store is licensed but they sell their very own house beer. The owners were friendly and i was very impressed with their small selection of locally brewed beer

Well you don't often find diamonds but this place is. Great friendly customer service. Great food cooked by the owner. Pies and pasties cooked on site. Had to take a box full back to Adelaide, they were so good. Very interesting store with great character, eating facilities indoor or out over looking the park and river. The place is licensed as well. Public toilets directly opposite store which were clean and in good order. You wont mind leaving something behind here. Even if you are not just passing through, this place is worth the visit. Highly recommended.

Recently went past on a business trip and we were looking for somewhere to get breakfast. Great Egg and Bacon sandwiches and friendly service. Stopped again on our second trip past and was delighted to see those egg and bacon sandwiches ready and waiting, fresh and as good as the first time. This will be a regular stop for us as we repeat this journey.

The sandwiches are great value for money too. It's a great place to stop and grab a quick bite to have there or grab it for the road. I highly recommend this place. 5 stars for me.
