Granite Hills Winery & Cellar Door | Macedon Ranges

Nice selection of good wines. This is what the Macedon Ranges is all about. We got the information directly from the (very knowledgeable) winemaker, who was really engaging and enthusiastic. It's how a wine tasting should be. Recommended! Their Gamay and Riesling is topnotch! It's perfect in terms of Price-Value.

Not sure of the reason for the negative reviews. Lou was super knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely interested in our opinions/ thoughts/ tasting notes of the wine being tasted. Walked away with a fine selection of wines that I’ll thoroughly enjoy. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area (or the hour and a half drive from Melbourne won’t disappoint)

Heard some reviews from friends about Granite Hills so had to check it out for ourselves. Great selection of wines on tasting, and really enjoyed chatting about them with Llew!

Dropped into Granite Hills during an impromptu o/night stay in Macedon. Had the sincere pleasure of enjoying a couple of glasses of wine and chatting with Andrea whilst taking in the view. For wine enthusiasts award winning winemaker Llew will ensure your tasting is more than just sipping your way through a few glasses of wine. As for their wine, if the bakers dozen travelling home to Melbourne in our boot is anything to go by, you should consider making a stop here next time you cruise through the region.

Lisa at the cellar door gifted us a very memorable experience at Granite Hills Winery! Our fabulous tasting with an entertaining back story on the property and information about the history of the winery. Very surprised to randomly come across a Vineyard that I'd know (via Dan Murphys etc) in Melbourne, whilst on holidays near Romsey Victoria. Far exceeded my expectations. Their Reisling, devine (and I predominantly drink reds).

Good wines and beautiful location. Enjoyed their Shiraz, distinctively different from nearby Heathcote Shiraz.

To Llew, your quality of wine matches your hospitality - SUPERB. The 2013 Shiraz is an understated red and The Gordon is devinely balanced. Big Fans. Get to this cellar door.
