Avon River European Carp Fishing Spot

Fantastic place for camping & fishing. I got carp fish. Big one. No toilet is available here. Suitable for caravan or self-contained vehicles. Pet and fire are allowed. Swimming? Not allowed maybe because there are boats around.🤔

Good spot to spend a day or couple. I had no much luck with fishing, but didn't really try hard. Wildlife spotted: echidna, snakes and water rats. Litter here and there, unfortunately summer people are just pigs.

Awesome spot for a fish. Only been there once and we weren’t lucky (one bite over a two hour session), however the setup is really good.

There are fishing platforms all down the spot, each looks to have a single rod holder. Everywhere we looked we found huge carp scales in abundance, which shows that they definitely catch decent fish out of the river

One thing worth noting is that it does get a bit busy with campers, as when we visited the spot every platform had a campervan set up in front of it.
