Promontory Restaurant and Winery

Stunning views and friendly service. I was greeted with a smile and the door opened for me. This place makes you feel special with white table clothes, spaced tables and great service. The food is delicious and a lovely wine selection too.

This was a surprise find. We thought the only place we were going to eat was at the local hotel but found this gem by chance.

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived from the host who was fantastic throughout the evening.

The food was excellent and the portion sizes matched our hunger after a day at the prom.

Stunning views from the restaurant as well, such a shame we got there later in the evening so could not enjoy them for long.

Everything from the location, the great staff and food was absolutely perfect. If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be stopping in for a beautiful meal - highly recommended!

Wonderful experience having dinner. Superb view with the sun going done near 9pm. Chris was a wonderful host very attentive, knowledgeable and fun !.Would highly recommend a visit !!

This restaurant is so special, I cannot tell. You cross the door and you are in a another time. No rush, no worries. We ordered onion tart and seafood chowder + a bottle of sparkling Ciao Bella. The service was outstanding as well as the food. The perfect place for a elegant celebration.

Amazing service and good. Too bad we went for dinner during winter and it was too dark to see the spectacular view from the restaurant. Nevertheless, the food (including dessert) was amazing.

Warm reception, friendly service and the local flathead was scrumptious. Smile and you will get a warm smile in return. The main serving was a little on the light side for the calamari, but a nice dessert takes care of that. The view is sweeping and beautiful to look over whilst you eat and drink a great wine. They served the first Rose and Pinot noir from Victoria that my partner and I have liked. A very pleasant experience. Make sure you book in advance.

We took our family to this restaurant a few weeks ago after it being closed over Covid. Chris the owner welcomed us like we’d never been away. The first visit for our family members.

We went for a lovely Sunday night dinner, the view is so so amazing!!! The food was also just as beautiful, we had the seared scallops, risotto, and lamb rack, and everything was superb! Meat was so tender, you could taste that all the ingredients were just so fresh. The view was definitely the cherry on the cake for us though, it overlooks the winery fields with views of the bay in the distance, it was truly magical.

We had Sunday lunch at Promontory Restaurant & Winery and it was a wonderful experience. The service is top notch, like you would expect from a Michelin Star restaurant, from the welcome at arrival to the wine knowledge, to the accommodating of our requests. The food is gourmet & delicious and the price is so incredibly reasonable... can’t recommend highly enough!

Really enjoyed the ambiance and friendly welcome, a real hidden treasure. The view were awesome as we watched the fronts move through. The meals were well delicious and appropriately priced. The salads were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Was privileged to have a delicious lunch here, food was presented well and cooked to perfection. The views are breathtaking, the service is attentive and polite, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great view, tasty food.

We have been here twice now and each time the food was top quality and great value for money. Very nice ambience and great view during the day. I highly recommend this venue.
