Barmah National Park

This place was so peaceful. Ordinary car to get in and people coming allowed space between us. Many areas to park a tent but no toilets were we were. Also pack a canoe! The water was so still.

Great roads in, ripper spots to camp I can't recommend the place enough

What an amazing placd the Barmah Natio nal Park is to visit. My friends and i have camped at Barmah National Park just outside Strathmerton for the past 2 Australia Day Weekends. While we camp on the river we cook our own food, drink beers and fish the entire weekend. The natural beauty of the surroundings is a great feel the entire weekend is about relaxing and getting away from it all. Id recommend this as a great camping area to anyone.

Huge park with many access roads to the Murray river. Great camping from individual sites along the river to larger more facilities sites.

I have mixed feelings towards the Brumbies. Inn one side what beautiful creatures they are. Inn the other side, destruction of the environment.

Well worth a visit, roads are suitable for a standard car also. You may even see a wild brumby, kangaroos, emus along the way.

Amazing national park... Heaps of native wildlife.. 4wd tracks everywhere and the fishing is pretty good as well.

One of my favourite places to camp ,it's a pity parks Vic keep trying to lock people out

Great park to spend the day for a picnic

Have camped there multiple times. It's a great spot. Right on the river amongst the red gums. There's pit toilets, that's about it. Be aware that it can flood so check beforehand. Access in and out is easy. Don't need a 4 wheel drive

Great Murray country. Easy walking, fabulous views.

Cool spot on the Murray. No toilets, bring your own water, best part was the lack of people.

Lovely area to visit, plenty of room for fishing and plenty of wildlife. I love that the Brumbies just roam free there.

Great place to enjoy the bush & if everyone that visits takes their rubbish back with them it would b even nicer. All the same a great place to camp in many different places some with ok to good busy ramps for the tinny
