A really picturesque beach with the skeletal remains of the Trinculo ship wreck. Very secluded and a great place to relax. Dogs are allowed on the beach and there's some great photo opportunities. Information boards on the Trinculo ship wreck are located at the top of the sand dunes near the car park, which itself is quite small, but plentiful for the number of visitors.

Easy enough walk over the dunes takes you down to the skeletal remains of the Trinculo wreck site. Wonderful secluded place to relax with not a single person in visible along what appears to be an endless beach. I didn't come across any sharp metal, although there were plenty of sand flies egger for blood. If your planning for a swim, take care, this isn't a patrolled beach, and although the water looks inviting, there was a dangerous rip running just off shore.

Been to visit a couple of times and still get a great historical vibe as you can see the frame of the ship sticking out. The last time I came you could see more of it, I guess it depends on the storm situation as that would clear the sand for a better view.

It was great. When I'm in an area, I like to go see the local tourist attractions. This is a must to see, just a sort walk from the car park. About 6km from Golden Beach town centre.

Nice spot to visit for a couple of photos and a good reminder of the maritime heritage and old dangers of the 90 Mile Beach, more of the wreck has been uncovered since our last visit.

I had a great time here and would come back. The shipwreck has been here for many years and only gets revealed as sand washes away from the beach especially after a big storm and big wave days.

Ninety mile beach is a wonderous place to visit although Trinculo ship wreck is a bit small in size an not much there it's still worth a visit for historical puposes.

Pretty cool shipwreck on beach
I recommend stopping here along the way if you're in the area. Good for picnic stop also.

Heaps of camps on the way, (9 to be precise). Beautiful spot. Can walk along the whole beach

Beautiful beach with easy access to the shipwreck. However, most of the shipwreck has corroded away.

It's a nice little stop if it's on your way. A bit of a treck from the carpark area.

Shipwreck located on the 90 Mile Beach in Gippsland Australia. Short walk across the sand dunes to find the Shipwreck

One of the oldest and existing run ashore ship remains in Gipsland shores. And added historical attraction the whole stretch of 90 mile beach. I could image the hardship experienced by the crews and the captain's family. Great view!!

Amazing that so much is made of such little remaining! Looks like a sculpture I would be proud to have installed!

Such a fine historical wreck from 1879, shame it was never preserved better. Worth seeing the shifting sands cover and uncover her over time, each visit she looks different.

A simple thing in the sand, but it's a bit of history that you can touch. It's a quiet stretch of sand that's very peaceful.
