I shared a special birthday of mine over the weekend with friends here and it far exceeded our expectations. What an absolutely wonderful place to get away from it all. All the extras were thought of and of course the views were spectacular. A huge pod of whales went past and played around out the front for what seemed like a very long time. Absolutely was the icing on the cake!

We stayed here with my parents, as two couples, for a 75th birthday weekend, and had an outstanding stay. The house was beautifully furnished with a commanding view out over Bass Strait, and many thoughtful extras, such as a fridge stocked with food and a bottle of wine, and a pantry full of staples such as oil and condiments. We would certainly return. As owners of a B&B ourselves, we have recommended that guests to stay at The Winged House when looking for accommodation in the north west of Tasmania.

Stayed at The Winged House in 2016 and it is one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in the world! The view from the house is absolutely stunning! Communication between the host was extremely easy and they were very efficient and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone if travelling to Tasmania.

Second visit, ten years after the first. It's still as beautiful and just as magical. The Winged House is an ideal place to escape too and wonderful base from which to explore NW Tasmania.

Exquisite! Stylish, tranquil, clean & comfy. Receptive and respectful hosts. Ideal for a weekend getaway. Have stayed a few times and look forward to returning.
