BIG4 Lucinda Wanderers Holiday Park

This is our happy place, best toilets, and shower blocks that we have come across in all our travels. It's the little things like hibiscus flowers at the sinks always lovely and clean, and as soon as a van moves, they are there mowing and whipper snipping,which is impressive really like this place hoping to head there soon for a month.

A real treat, friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Sites are spacious with slab and nice grass surrounding. Amenities are spacious, well laid out and well maintained.

Awesome location so close to the beach. This park is amazing, the pool is an absolute oasis. It is always sparkling clean, on super hot days the huge umbrellas are open to provide welcoming shade. Maintenance and presentation of the park is well done. The amenities, laundry and camp kitchen are always spotlessly cleaned. This park is a pleasure to visit and stay at.

A lovely part of Nth Qld at the southern end of Hinchinbrook Island. Friendly caravan park with plenty of room and great amenities. Cafe and pub a short walk away that sell great meals.

Camped here for a night and the staff member was lovely when called last minute to book a campsite. Lovely park, short walking distance to beach, shop, hotel. Clean, well maintained facilities will definitely stay again.

Just spent a relaxing out of season 3 weeks camping at Wanderers Lucinda where we probably only had a handful of fine sunny days. However we stayed very dry in our caravan & full annex. Hubby tried to catch a crab, but no luck there due to the flooding fresh water river. Did catch a couple of nice Grunter tho so all was not lost. The caretakers were fantastic & the grounds were emaculate, amenities were supeclean & the pool was sparkling & well used...by us. Very fast check in room was nice and cool and quiet very close to the ocean. Lucinda is definitely the place to come to during the off peak periods to get away from work and to recharge. Cafe is up and running great food. Thanks for a most enjoyable stay.

Beautiful camping grounds, great atmosphere, beach & playground at the back of the campground, fabulous swimming pool.

We stayed in our own caravan, the facilities at Lucinda are great. The toilets & shower area is very clean, spacious & very well maintained. The pool is lovely with deck chairs & pergola. All the staff are very friendly & helpful with anything. We’ve stayed twice now & will definitely stay again when where travelling up that way next.

Beautiful park kept in perfect condition. We had a 1 night stay there on an unpowered site (55$ for 3 adults) and really enjoyed ourselves.
The park is only a few minutes away from the fishing jetty and there is a little store that makes great coffee right on the corner.
Amenities were spotless clean and looked brand new. There is also a small camp kitchen that has everything you need.
Laundry only had 1 working washing machine but it wasn't a problem for us.
Overall a beautiful park, would recommend and stay again.

The workers at the holiday park from the front office staff to cleaners and grounds maintenance workers are wonderful, friendly, and helpful.
Lucinda Pub was great fun and an easy stroll.
Fishing spots were easy to access even for those with mobility issues.
I would recommend for everyone to stay at this wonderful well run venue

We did not book a room but booked a site with a caravan. Great park, close to the playground, has a pool (did not use) the amenities was nice clean and very big. The camp kitchen was a little small but it had a play area with a ping pong table TV etc. sites were maybe a little small as your neighbour was right next to you but didn’t affect set up for a 15ft caravan. Will stay again.

What a great place to stop. The facilities are really well thought out and look after those staying there. The fish cleaning set up is the best I’ve seen. Thanks for a great stay, even if the fishing wasn’t as good as we expected.

A great park with excellent facilities. The activity room was well equipped with TV and ping pong, amenities were spacious, large and really clean. Highly recommended this place.

Fantastic place to stay, amenities and room spotless (we stayed in a family Bungalow) plus there were fabulous laundry facilities which really made our trip easier. Everyone at the reception was very polite and helpful. Great experience, brilliant park.

Fabulous customer service. Allowed us to book for a single night prior to completing the Thorsborne trail, stored our car securely and then provided towels and a shower on return. All staff very friendly and helpful. Cabin clean and comfortable if a little dark. Would highly recommend!!

A great caravan park with large clean amenities, great pool, helpful staff and surprisingly an abundance of bird life. We loved the curlews around our site. Park was very quite at night even though it was full of caravaners.

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. Park is clean, well maintained, amenities are so clean. We stayed in the cabins and they are so lovely and the most soft and snuggly bed ever! Staff are amazing, super friendly and happy. Close to the beach for a nice stroll. Definitely come back with our caravan for a longer stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our ur stay! Thank you ☺
