Sunflower Motel

We stayed there 8/06/24...extremely clean and comfortable...I've never slept in such a comfortable bed. A bottle of fresh milk was provided. Very friendly people...15/5 stars

The rooms were beautifully clean, beds comfortable and we appreciated the big bottle of fresh milk for our coffee's.

Stayed at the Sunflower Motel for two nights and was very happy with the accomodation. The rooms are a little dated but are well appointed and very clean which is the most important component in my opinion. I understand the rooms will be the next project to be updated. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with any questions you may have. I have family living in Warialda so I will definitely stay at the Sunflower Motel again and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

I was provided a room at this motel as I was judging a horse show in town. I can’t comment on dealing with the people but the cleanliness and comfort of the room was outstanding. The quality of the fittings and bedding was also top notch.

Too cute. Great rooms, immaculately clean, tidy and well appointed. Service outstanding. Great value. The sunset and neighboring llama's were an unexpected bonus!

Stayed here overnight for a job nearby and was extremely surprised at how friendly Dave at the front counter was, Had a good chat whilst sorting the room out.
The rooms are clean and tidy with everything you'd need and at a good price!

From the very first welcome at reception, this was a great stay. Very clean and comfortable with a friendly family operation. Loved meeting the alpacas and Maggie the lamb, even Swoop the cranky magpie! There was lots of birds in the trees and a freat outdoor covered bbq area and tables where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. Despite being on the main road, it wasn't noisy. Highly recommend the Sunflower Motel at Warialda.

Booked into the Sunflower Motel last minute with the Family to stop over for the night. Jen was easy to communicate with and sorted us out with a Family room and food menus to grab food from locally.

The room itself was really clean and it made me feel comfortable for my toddler and 11 month old to crawl/be bare foot around on the floors. The beds were comfortable as well. Really happy with our one night stay and waking up to the Alpacas in the morning with the kids. Thank you Jen, we will definitely be back!

Exceptional customer service. Room was very clean. BBQ area was great to sit and talk the night away. Jenny went above and beyond to make our stay great and memorable. Thank you so much. Already starting to plan the next trip, ensuring we stay at The Sunflower!

We stay at a motel at least once or twice each week but the people running this motel are absolutely wonderful! So many considerate touches- air conditioner on when arrived, biscuits, fresh cold milk, cold water in the fridge and immaculately clean.

This will not be our last stay at this motel and thank you to the managers/owners for doing such a great job 20/10

Fabulous place to stay in Warialda! Friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were super clean! Great facilities and BBQ area would be perfect for afternoon drinks! Could not fault a thing!

Very clean. Looks like it was just renovated. Fairly quiet even though it is close to the highway.

After travelling from Kingaroy, I stopped into this motel with my 2 little kids to break up our trip back to Newcastle. We were tired and a little under the weather. Walking into this super clean and comfortable room was just what we needed. The beds were comfy, good size TV and just so so clean! Thank you for such a nice stay 😊

Lovely surprise to see so many positive changes at the Sunflower Motel with new owners Jen and Dave giving it some much needed love. Room was impeccably clean and well appointed. A real bonus to the little township of Warialda and a great location to pull up for the night. Look forward to seeing you on our next trip.

Older rooms but clean and tidy with lots of space. Were fantastic about getting me a last minute booking as I drove past, quick to recommend the local pub for dinner and lovely breakfast the next morning despite being unorganised in ordering it. Good value and a lovely country town

Had great time good breakfast new owners David and Jenny really welcoming people. Another staff member greeted us like we were old friends. older style rooms means extra room very clean and tidy very comfortable bed. rooms are getting updated it all takes time when you are new owners

You know when you just need that home away from home stop on a long trip well this is the place. Great friendly hosts, spacious well appointed clean rooms and value for money. We stayed here recently with 6 adults and nothing was too much trouble for Jen and Davo this property definitely earns 5 stars. Thanks Jen and Davo for all you did for my family we will be back at some stage 😊😊👌

Hosts were friendly and helpful, meals to room were excellent, rooms were clean and bed comfortable. We accidently left something in the room and we received a phone call telling us that it would be posted to us and it arrived shortly after we got home. Can't ask for better service than that.

Due to being booked out, we didn't get to stay at the Sunflower Motel.
However, the exceptional customer service and friendliness of the staff would indicate that a stay here would be well worth stopping.
