Cute and cosy, visited by many different birds, conveniently situated on walking distance from the walking tracks.
The cottage has a very nice layout and great views on the Bunya trees, wallabies and birds. Cosiest cottage we have stayed in during our many visits to the Bunya Mountains.

The Wren Cottage is a peaceful, character laiden period style home nestled in a private little pocket of trees in the Bunya Mountains.

The home itself is beautifully appointed and looks better than the photos. It is full of character and has a cosy, homely feel to it.

The wraparound veranda is lovely and overlooks the private lawns. It's a great place to relax during the day and watch the wildlife go by, of which there is of course plenty!

My favourite part is the master bedroom which has its own set of french doors which open out onto the veranda.

I've stayed here twice and dream of buying the place one day.

Simple but comfortable and good value, set in idyllic Bunya Mountains and with an abundance of wildlife around the cottage, Wren cottage makes a great break from the City. Walking distance to the Cafe and restaurant and some walking tracks. Optus coverage but no Telstra until you go to the shops. Not well appointed with basics like hand soap etc but heaps of firewood. Bring kindling and firestarters as heaps of hardwood but it takes a bit of heat to get started. If be happy to come back again.

This house is amazing, a real dream. Really can't say enough about it I will try and stay here again for sure. We got a good weekend though, not sure how it would be in the rain there could be a bit of mud outside. It has a lot of privacy and is perfect for a couple or a small family. Reading the paper on the deck in the morning sun is godly. Not too far from the main gate/cafes either if you don't mind a 12 minute walk.

We love this cottage. It's everything we were looking for. Private and quaint. We felt cosy and warm surrounds by the bunya pines and wallabies. Not too far from the cafes etc. We will be back!

Wren Cottage is very comfortable with a lovely outlook from the back verandah. Dozens of wallabies peacefully grazing on the grass was so cute to see, and a possum climbed up the steps to wander around the verandah. The only disappointment was the total lack of curtains in the lounge/dining/kitchen, so at night with the light or t.v. on I felt completely "on view". There are blinds and curtains in the bedrooms, but the blinds have a gap either side and the curtains are basically see-through at night with the light on. I would love to stay again, but block out curtains are definitely needed before I would book this cottage again.

Wren cottage was a big disappointment. You could write your name in the dust on the furniture
My understanding was all rentals were being sanitised between rentals due to the Covid 19.
The kitchen cupboard was about to fall off the hinges, the kitchen sink and bench top was over run with large blacks ants. A large amount of mould on the ceiling above the television. The toilet seat was un secured. Difficult to sweep the floor as the broom head would not say attached.
Saturday about 5.45 I went to cook our dinner and lost all power to the house we checked the Fuse box all looked good. Tried to call the emergency after hours number 3 times no answer sent a sms message, got a call back at 8.30 saying that the Energy company was sending a crew out from Dalby.
When I went to the office this morning and mentioned that I was disappointed that it took over two hours before someone called to let us know what was happening. The lady Became quite defence and said she had gone shopping after work and that the other lady was in the office and that when she got back to the office she called me she then told me that I was lucky that the people in Serenity had Called the energy company.
I did ask that my comments be passed on to the owners but due to the reaction from the office staff decided that I would write a review.
