Primal Archery

Embarking on an archery adventure with Primal Archery was a highlight of our South West visit from Perth! With bows and arrows provided, we felt like modern-day Robin Hoods, thanks to the expert guidance of the friendly staff. This NDIS-approved activity was brilliantly coordinated by Able WA, ensuring a supportive and inclusive experience for all. For anyone seeking outdoor adventures that cater to diverse abilities, Primal Archery hits the mark!

AMAZING place to spend a few hours!
Have been a member here for a year. The staff are fantastic, the owners are great people who are keen to share advice and tips.
The membership is 100% worthwhile for anyone wanting to get more into Archery.

Can't wait for the next after-hours shoot to meet some other members. :)

1st time visit today. Great experience. The girl who gave the demonstration was amazing. Super friendly with warm greetings. Good facilities with a good amount of space. It starting raining and the girl came out with umbrellas for us. Absolutely amazing service. Highly Recommend this place.

Had an amazing time here, they have 3 combined courses 5 target, 10 target or 15 target with either 3 or 6 arrows. As well as 2 practice ranges. Other activites include mini putt and oversize chess. Service was fantastic and staff were helpful.

Primal archery is a fun and safe park with a great staff and community.

Luke and the team were really helpful in getting me setup to get back into this wonderful sport.

Back again and the team were really helpful with replacing the nocks on my friends arrows and just the general atmosphere of a fun environment.

Great venue for Archery and Mini Golf. Love that they provide each group training, demostration and practice before starting the course.

There's a 5 course (LHS) and 10 course option (RHS). The 15 course option is the combination of the 5 & 10 courses. If you're worried about sun exposure, then opt for the 10 course. It's under the shade of the trees and has a really nice atmosphere.

Mini golf is also set under the trees with twist of spinning the dial and accepting the challenge that it lands on for extra laughs.

8 of us went here and they split us into 2 x groups of 4. Completely understand now why. It would have been too long a wait between shoots and safety could have been compromised. These are real arrows a powerful bows. Their safety talk and training was relaxed but firm. When we went out onto the target area we knew what we had to do, just had to put it into progress! Great day had by all ages.

First time for the kids and me going archery. This place makes it easy and in a safe and fun environment.

Choose how many arrows you would like to use and how many rounds you would like to do.

We chose 6x arrows each round for 10x rounds. This was plenty. Which meant we had to shoot 60x arrows over the course.

If you don’t know how to shoot an arrow. They teach you first and have a few practice shots before they put in the wild to shoot yourself. Highly enjoyable!!

100% worth going too. The place is always improving everytime I go each weekend. The staff are wonderful. The price is very affordable and the dog is such a good boy. Need a place to go this holidays, GO TO PRIMAL!!!!

Had such a fun time here on our visit down south! You get a practice and safety run down first and then your off on your own! The kids loved it too - great for the whole family and you can choose the course you do. We chose 3 arrows and a 5 game
but there’s soo many more that would take longer!

Everytime I have come down this direction the last 10 years, I have come here and it’s always great fun and lovely staff :)

Definitely recommend and wish I had this place a bit closers than 1.75 hours away, so I could come every weekend.

Saw this place on our drive down south and decided to give it a try despite having absolutely zero experience at archery.

The opening hours are quite limited being only open from Friday to Sunday so do check ahead of time if they're open as they may also be closed due to bad weather.

The staff was amazing, gave good clear guidance and training and we went on shooting targets in no time. We got the plan with 3 arrows per target with 10 targets to go through. It's hard to hit consistently but it's still fun and we had a good laugh at those that went way off.

Tips: there is a little gift if you approach the staff after you read your rules!

Great place for both adults and kids to have fun on a great weather. Great service as well. Will be back!

Been there for archery and loved it! Great value, only $15 pp. The course has 9 aim stages and it's just the right amount for a very fun experience. There's a bench to sit in each one while you wait for your turn and enough shade from trees. I love that behind us there's an open field which means almost no insects around! The staff lady is lovely and so helpful teaching how to shoot. Arch and arrows in very good condition. I know the park offers mini golf and kart too but i haven't used those services to be able to review them. Oh, Amelia Lodge tavern is right behind the park, 2 min by car, i recommend it for lunch after playing.

Was great and easy, no over complicated instructions, no super long boring safety briefing, just allowing people to use their common sense.

Also great use of the space they have and allowing for all levels of age and people to be able to participate

Will definitely go again...

The whole family enjoyed the challenge, love how you can choose how difficult to make it and bought back childhood memories under the same trees. Was nice and cool even on a stinky hot day.
Does getting an arrow through 4 different leaves get extra points ???

The staff are so friendly and take the time to show you how to use the bow and arrows and how to aim. The prices are great and affordable for what you receive. Good fun

Had a great morning whiping my hubby's but. Both have never done archery before and both enjoyed it.
