Found this bakery while searching for a coffee in Glen Innes. What a wee gem it is, open at 5 am every morning until late. E returned for breakfast the next day. If you're visiting Glen Innes I highly recommend a visit to Smeaton for breakfast and the comfy chajrs

The bakery items are great quality. The coffee is a bit strong for my liking but good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Decor is excellent and really sets the mood. Luxury and comfort.

I was so impressed (& relieved) to have the lovely lady owner answer my phone call & put aside a scrumptious apple pie for me to pick up later when arriving in town to visit family.

Great bakery, had the breakfast here and it did was fantastic. Coffee was served with a smile and was one of the best coffees I've had this year. Such friendly staff. Great service and great selections.

The main reason why I’ve posted a review as the customer service experience. The gentleman whom I believe name is Nathan. Was so vibrant, energetic and friendly to me and my family. We ordered few coffees and pies which the coffee was beautiful, I’m usually an iced latte drinker but the caramel latte made was smooth and coffee blend was awesome, I loved the pie and the comfy chairs to lounge in. Having lots of Coffee Shops in QLD I can’t say I would of got the same experience as I did today. Thank you to the staff at Smeatons Bakery.

We phoned ahead our order of sausage roll,party pies, sandwiches and cakes. Food was on time, hot, well proportioned served in trays. Nothing but praise from our 26 passengers. Great tasting food. Fresh baked scrumptious lemon slice. Our thanks from Tour local.

Young guy who served us was great, so excited to have us in his shop. Great funky furniture. Fantastic choice of bakery items. We had a scooby do, maple bacon Meat pie, sausage roll and a rock cake. YUM!! Great coffe. Can't rate this place enough. You must visit. We will definitely be back.

The best pies, sausage rolls, sweet treats & the most fabulous coffee in Glen Innes. Very welcoming & friendly staff. Always a great pleasure to be served by such pleasant people on a daily basis.

Great little bakery. Opens super early, awesome and enthusiastic staff who are very helpful and friendly. Great fresh takeaway sandwiches, and amazing pies. Great coffee too, what's not to love?
Definitely worth a visit for a breakfast on the go, or a lunchtime meal.

Great bakery for sweet selections and pies etc. Some old favourites and more unusual offerings. We visited three times and enjoyed everything we bought. It'd be a regular for me if I lived in Glen Innes.

The best spinach and feta roll in town! And the coffee never disappoints! The staff are always so warm and welcoming and the baked delights melt the heart ❤

Absolute gem, country bakery serving traditional baked goods. Well priced and cheery service, even at 7am on a weekend morning. Thank you ladies.

Fast gaining a great reputation for their mouth watering pies , not to mention wonderful cakes and coffee! Yummy treats to be found here...get in early as the best stuff goes quick!

Called in to have a look and we welcomed by some friendly staff. We ordered some pies and I must say the pastry was just divine. The filling was real meat chunks with a wonderful flavour. Go treat yourself to this bakery.

Love a good pie? You'll absolutely love they Maple Bacon, Steak & Cheese pie also worth trying their Garlic, Bacon and Cheese sausage roll.

Passing through Glen Innes and stopped at this wonderful bakery. We ordered two salad rolls, sausage roll and one pie. All of the food was very fresh and extremely tasty. The variety of pies was amazing. The staff were very pleasant. Will certainly be calling in next time in Glen Innes.

The best Chunky Steak Pie I have had in long time. The meat melts in the mouth.

The plain mince pie is pure happiness in a pie. Great customer service. Coffee is amazing too!!
