Cannot recommend Amaroo Escape highly enough! Amazing attention to detail in the “tent”, equipped with everything you need and more. Luxury in a stunning location right on the river. The electric 4-wheel drive carts were loads of fun to explore the property. Jim and Susan are amazing hosts we’ll be back for sure!

Amaroo is an amazing piece of paradise in which to unwind and enjoy nature. The accommodation is beautiful and we would give it 6 stars if that was an option. Jim and Susan are the ultimate hosts giving you space to enjoy your glamping experience but ensuring a warm welcome on your arrival. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family.

Would highly recommend Amaroo Escape to anyone who needs to "recharge your batteries". Jim and Susan have ticked all the boxes for your stay. From the friendly warm welcome from them both to the finer details with your accommodation, the UTV, the cows, but most of all, the river and the absolute peace and quiet.

Our stay was just magical! Jim and Susan were so welcoming and friendly and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our holiday at Amaroo! Absolute perfection! Loved every minute being off grid to explore and appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility. The ATV vehicles added off road adventure and enabled us to explore Jim and Susan's beautiful property with amazing views, rivers, swimming holes, cows, platypus and beautiful birds. Our recent weekend away was exceptional and exceed our expectations in every way. Jim & Susan provided a warm, friendly welcome and couldn’t be more helpful. The rooms are 5 star and we wish we could take the bed with us, it’s so amazing. The view and tranquillity make it hard to want to leave, but once you do venture out in the provided ATVs, it didn’t disappoint. We went swimming, met some local cows and really soaked up the mountain view. We were even lucky enough to see a platypus. We cannot wait to stay here again and make even more memories.

Wow! had the priveledge this week of staying at Amaroo Escape as it was my 50th bday gift. What an majestic place to switch off from the outside world. We saw so much wildlif even two platypus. Both Jim and Susan are just so warming and friendly, lovely people.
And the tents were beyond our expectations.. thank you so much for sharing this little diamond with us... just absolutely georgeous. And the respect you feel from the ecosystem here is just so overwhelming. Will definately be returning here.

Wow! It doesn’t get better than Amaroo Escape. We had the time of our life relaxing, enjoying nature and the gorgeous glamping that Jim and Susan have beautifully presented. They are the greatest and most hospitable hosts we have ever had. Greeting us at the gate as we arrived and wishing us well on the way out. 4 nights went too fast and we felt so relaxed and we will be back as soon as possible. Thanks so much Susan and Jim. Amaroo left us speechless and in tears when we left.I didn’t want to go.We spent 4 heavenly days in COOINDA and cannot rave highly enough about the standard of this glamping tent,the cleanliness,the layout,the attention to detail,the generosity of the breakfast supplies plus so much more.The bed was insanely comfortable and sleeping to the sound of the flowing river was serene.The whole property was immaculately maintained by INCREDIBLE hosts Jim and Sue.The UTV car was sooo much fun for exploring the whole property.We saw so much wildlife and adored the cows.The stars at night were insanely beautiful.
Thankyou Jim and Sue so much for spoiling us and allowing us to make amazing memories….100% coming back .That was a 10 star stay

What an escape from the daily grind. Amaroo was the perfect destination to completely disconnect from our busy lives.

Offering amazing scenery, comfy beds and luxurious glamping. Ticked all the boxes for us to rejuvenate and reconnect.

We stayed for three nights and didn’t want to leave. Sue and Jim are so great, easy to chat to and you can tell how passionate they are about their little slice of paradise.

They have thought of absolutely everything, the stay also included the use of the ATV’s which was just so much fun to venture out and explore.

The bath is just divine and absolutely loved the added extra compliments such as chocolate and marshmallows..and champagne to celebrate a break. Not to mention the incredible wild life such as platypus and water dragons.

My favourite thing to do was float down the river and just fully immersed in nature without having to share the space with a lot of people.
So private and tranquil.

We also indulged on catering provided by Gloucester Country Catering, so fresh and delicious, easy and convenient. Definitely a must if you want to fully relax with having to prepare foods.

Thank you to Sue & Jim for an unforgettable experience. We had an absolute blast and cannot wait to come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Everything was perfect, from the welcoming hosts to the serene atmosphere. It's now a favourite place for a restful and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place for us to spend our honeymoon at and being able to take off in a atv to ur own secluded locations just took this place to the next level. The rooms exceed anyone's expectations with everything, with the river flowing right past your window just makes it blissful. Can't wait for our next visit there.

Anyone wanting a spectacular location to just switch off and enjoy your surroundings Amaroo Escape is the perfect place.

Jim & Sue are absolute gems, and really good at what they do. Especially making their guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Amaroo escape is a beautiful slice of heaven. The sevice provided by Jim and Sue was exceptional, they have gone above and beyond to create a beautiful, relaxing getaway retreat that they should be so proud of. I couldn’t not recommend a stay at Amaroo escape enough!

My wife and I had our babymoon here and loved every minute of our stay over Easter. Jim and Susan are amazing and have set up Amaroo perfect, u cannot fault the place one bit and they have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay more relaxing and enjoyable. The UTV carts are perfect for getting around the property to the many water holes, picnic spots, to see the whole farm and all the cows. The room, bathroom and kitchen are perfect with a very comfortable bed. The balcony was amazing to sit on and have a couple cold ones and look out at the view over the river. We will definitely be coming back again. 12 out of 10 for this stay and definitely recommend anyone who wants to stay there.

Amaroo is a piece of paradise, we had a beautiful winter escape. We have re-booked for the summer to experience a different season and enjoy the river. Would highly recommend, this is a must do !!! Jim & Susie are fabulous hosts

We had an amazing time at Amaroo for our 3 night stay. Everything from the greeting when we arrived to the goodbye when we left. Nothing was left out. If you didn't like to full high pillow to sleep with, there was a low small pillow as well. The inclusions were carefully thought out, it was truly a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this retreat to everybody I know, and will be back the next chance we get.

This place offers a disconnet from the digital world.
The opportunity to do little or a lot is definitely a high point of the experience offered.
Even the chance to spot the elusive platypus brought a childish glee of excitement.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. The moment we entered the gate and were greeted with jims welcoming nature we felt relaxed. All the little touches were noticed and truly appreciated, the heater on the deck was a marvellous touch and allowd us to sit and watch the moonlight dance on the river. An honourable mention for the bed that felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, I tru6had the best sleep of my life. Jim and Susan have spared no expense or effort to make your stay here a memorable and 5 star experience.
