Rocky Creek Dam

Great place for a dog friendly walk and picnic. One of the few places you can get a good rainforest experience with you fur kids. The platypus boardwalk is a real treat. Grab yourself some local produce (i thoroughly recommend nimbin valley dairy for some cheese if your travelling from Nimbin) and have a great picnic.

I really enjoyed this park there is a big playground and BBQ areas. The entire park is beautiful with fantastic views over the dam. There are numerous hiking trails of different lengths. Theses trails take all over the park where you can see numerous amounts of wildlife.

Nice place to spend some time with friends and family.
It has a nice bbq area with under covered sitting space. Easy access to washrooms. Good Kids play ground as well.
Limited parking though. Roads from Lismore is good but be aware of some rough roads.

Some water animal can be found near the bbq place.

Picturesque walking trails for different abilities. Playground, picnic and bathroom facilities available. Great spot to stretch legs with the family.

Good spot if your up for a good walk. Good amenities, bbq area and play ground for the kids. Definitely bring good shoes and water

Amazing place, very clean and well looked after. The council put a lot of care into it.
You can bring your dog on the lead and go for decent nice bushwalks.

Well laid out picnic area with good amenities black, gas BBQs, and good walking paths. Interesting build of a dam wall.

This is a very peaceful place to take your family. There are free BBQs and clean rest rooms. You can choose to take your family on a walk around the Dam and then come back and have a picnic on the tables that are provided. All the amenities are wheelchair accessible.

Wonderful family activity area.. has bbq's and picnic tables plus playground for the kids. Plenty of open spaces for games and wooden walking pathways through beautiful rainforest. If not feeling particularly active just bring your own chair, pick a spot, relax and enjoy the view.. great spot.
