Scotts Head Lookout

We were lucky enough to have booked a couple of nights at Scotts Head and loved every moment of the time. The headland lookout is in my opinion a "must do" as it offers superb views of the long surf beach and then if you walk further up the hill there are view points all around

Go past the deck and follow the path all the way to the top of the headland. It's a great place to spot whales in the winter and an awesome view when the swell is up.
The deck is a good place to watch Surfers on the point break. Dolphins and turtles are regular visitors.

Short walk uphill from the car park to the lookout. Fabulous views.

Nice quiet place to visit. Scenic walks over the headlands.

A short ascent up a pathway that meanders through a scrubby headland, will take you to the lookout where the spectacular ocean views are impressively expansive. This is a very good vantage point to observe migrating whales breeching. The lower platform has benches to sit and watch people surfing below. Its not uncommon to see pods of dolphins or the occasional loggerhead turtle.

Come here plenty of times but never dissappiont me..
As usual they get so crowded during school holiday and other holidays..christmass, new year etc.very popular

What a lovely surprise. Scotts Head is delightful and the Head has spectacular views. Worth a visit.
