Trent Munro Surf Academy

I had my first surfing experience with Trent and it was fantastic. I felt safe at all times and Trent explained everything simply and clearly. With his help I was able to surf my first waves today and had a great session. Highly recommended!

Visiting from the US. A friend and I road tripped from Sydney to Byron Bay. To break up the trip, we decided to stop for a surf lesson somewhere in the middle. We opted for Trent’s Surf Academy, and what a great choice it was.

We are both beginner surfers, and Trent gave us a good tutorial before heading into the water with us. We started with some smaller waves, and once we began to get the hang of it we moved out further for some bigger ones. After a while we started to get a little tired, so Trent suggested we move back in a bit where it was easier to paddle. He was great with some strategic tips without being overly technical - very effective at communicating what to do and when.

We even got to see some dolphins riding the waves down the beach. This was a great experience and the perfect place for a surf lesson to break up our drive. Would recommend this to anyone.

What a great morning at Scott’s Head. Chris took my two kids for a lesson and they had the best time. He was friendly, professional and very encouraging. Recommend this surf school 100%.
