Always a must stop for a bite to eat when travelling through Gippsland. Have visited several times in recent months and have always left satisfied. Decent size sausage rolls, pies and pasties etc and lots of yummy sweet desert items too. Very reasonably priced too, far better than my local bakery in Melbourne. Would love to see some more local drinks stocked too.

Bought couple of pies in the morning. Tried the chicken, pumpkin and feta pie. That was delicious. Son had curry pie and he said it’s good too. I like the thin and light pastry. Doesn’t taste too buttery. Service staff are polite and pleasant. Will be back to try other pies.

Stopped for a delightful Devonshire Tea on our way home from a day trip to Thomson Dam. Tea was hot and strong, with milk served in cute little milk churn jugs. Scones were warm, with just the right outside crunch and fluffy centre. Delectable local raspberry jam and double cream accompanied the scones. Best Devonshire we've had for ages. Highly recommended.

Always have to make a pitstop here, no matter the time of day when passing through. Can still guarantee a yummy pie or sausage roll even after the rush of lunch. Their long-johns are also a must try!

Popped in for a quick lunch today on the way through and had the best pie I have had in many years. I had the steak and cheese and daughter had chunky beef and if the line wasn't out the door (I totally get why) I would have gone back for another. Will be a must stop on the way through from now on.
Staff were also great and as someone that works in a similar job can honestly say they were doing an outstanding job under the pressure of a lunch rush.

Love the scallop pies but the last one had no scallops in it. It had like fish bits in it and the sauce wasn't the same it was terrible

Driven by a few times but the lines were always too long (that's a good sign), but we finally grabbed a couple of shepherd's pies and a French vanilla slice today... and it was worth the wait. The pies were outstanding and the vanilla slice was the best we've ever had - not those horrid milk-bar things. This was the real deal. It seemed expensive but after the first bite it was worth every cent. Seriously tasty. Staff were run of their feet and doing a good job considering how busy it was. We'll be back next week. Highly recommended.

We stop here for lunch almost every time we are passing through Yarragon. They have a great selection of pies and cakes etc. All good quality and reasonably priced. If you like a bit of chilli in your pie, this is the place to get it if you like it hot and spicy. I would highly recommend this place if your in the area for a break. Their is also plenty of tables and chairs in the village area.

I cannot get enough of this bakery and head straight there every time I pass through Yarragon. Everything is delicious and the pies are the best I've had in my life. You HAVE to try the chicken, bacon and avo. It shouldn't work, but it does.

Great sandwiches and traditional English style cakes. Bought other stuff and forgot to take a photo, so lucky I had this left over, half jelly slice and passionfruit custard slice.... Happy days
