Finley Country Club Hotel Motel

Just arrived this evening with late notice. Jerilderie full so Fergus from hotel rang through to the very accommodating Tracy who graciously gave us their newest room. Room very recently renovated and very lovely. All that you need on the road. Went to the hotel and once again, great service and lovely meal. Very happy to recommend.

Basic but comfy room, had everything you'd need for an overnight stay. Room was quiet - stayed in the motel section out the back of the pub. Staff lovely, beers cold and food delicious! Would stop there again.

Best pub lunch I have had in years.
Chose the Wild Mushroom Ravioli starter followed with Honey glazed Slow cooked Brisket.
Service and staff were excellent.

First visit to this Hotel. Service excellent and staff very friendly. I chose the Wild Mushroom Ravioli followed by Salt and Pepper Calamari. Both cooked to perfection. Can highly recommend this hotel.

I would absolutely recommend the Finley Country Club for anyone travelling through or to Finley. The staff go above and beyond to cater and give you the best possible experience. You can feel the community through the Country Club. The food and dining experience was incredible with all produce locally sourced. Definitely the best Club food i have ever eaten. -Lily

A small country town needs a good pub to eat at, this pub is it!! Amazing food with great attention to detail, food is delicious and the staff are amazing!!

When we originally booked we were given a hotel room upstairs in the pub as the Motel side of accommodation was fully booked. Very comfortable and clean room. We shared the bathroom with another guest, and it was reasonably clean with no problems. Will stay again in the future.

The Kerala goat curry was exceptional, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome

Stayed one night for work trip, room was clean and great. Food was great, had the beef brisket which was melt in the mouth material.

Staff are all friendly and have good service.

All round classic country hospitality.

What a gem! We had the caravan in the excellent free park behind the main street and walked round to the pub. The service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. Met the publican Rick, truly a top bloke. We plan to make this a destination on our next trip.

The Country Club is a fantastic pub with great meals, super friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. We even tried the new wines that came in. Looking forward to next popping in when heading back up from Melbourne.

Why five stars? It's obviously a work in progress, it appears as though the pub and motel rooms are all being renovated. But for us it was perfect.
Our room met all our needs.
It was ground floor, dog friendly, and had a little area to make coffee and heat up some food. The bed was comfy, clean sheets, and it was a great place to wait out a storm.
Affordable friendly we would stay again 🥰

Rick is the Proprietor we had a beautiful lunch its a bit like fine dining white table cloths glass of chardy cold beer they have a beer garden second to none .

In terms of a country pub Finley Country Club Hotel Motel is up there.

When I checked in the proprietor was friendly, informational and welcoming.

After settling into my room I went for a meal in the restaurant, as I walked in I was greeted by name and had a cold drink within seconds.

The meal:
The menu has about 15 to 20 well thought out options. It has your traditional steak and chips/parm and salad as well as a number of pastas and curries.

I chose garlic bread and a chilli prawn carbonara.

The meal was filling and tasty but slightly expensive. Either way I enjoyed it.

The room:
The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was incredibly soft. The shower pressure was reasonable.

All in all, I'd stay again and definitely recommend you do too, if you're passing through.

Chef’s recommendation of Fish of the day, (scallops) and Prawn mango curry were excellent.
Worth taking a trip over the border to Finley.

Very nice and tidy pub and rooms. Good selection at the bar. The rooms are set back from the pub so that you are not bothered noise wise. Very reasonable rates.

Rick & his staff were amazing during my time of need. Room was clean, very comfortable bed. Kept checking if I was OK, delivered meals to my room, nothing was too difficult. I felt safe. Close to supermarket. Friendly Finley people.
