Nice hostel and good facilities. The kitchen and social area are large and the whole place is very clean. A mix between dorm rooms and private rooms. Tula the hostel manager is very kind and generous and takes excellent care of his guests. He has connections with local farmers and will try his hardest to find you work. Would be a very good spot to do 88 days. Thanks again!

I stayed at this hostel for three months as a backpacker to complete my 88-day farm work. It was an amazing experience!
The rooms are very clean and private, the kitchen is big and clean and there is also a small gym next to all of these. Tula, the manager, is an amazing person. He is super helpful and friendly.

I recommend this place to everyone.

I was staying here as a backpacker in this hostel for 3 months to complete my 88 days. It was an amazing time. The rooms are very clean, you have your own privacy, a little gym and much more. Tula (the manager) is an awesome guy who's trying to help everyone and everytime.
Recommend it to everyone.

This backpackers is really comfortable place to stay.Host Tula is very friendly and kind. He can help you anything you want. If you are looking for a job to complete 88days for your second visa condition, this place must be perfect choice to you. Clean room, fast wifi, nice people, what a wonderful place I have ever been. Manager and staff here are very nice and helpful. They helped with my job and many other little things in life. I'm forever grateful for that. The room itself is also clean and well equipped, got my own tv, fridge and bathroom.

When I arrived in Hillston, Tula kindly provided accommodation and job guidance for us, despite there being no vacancies. I was exhausted from long hours of driving and the intense sunlight for days. Thanks to his kind guidance, I was finally able to find work. I'm very grateful to you 👍🏻👍🏻

The Backpackers is located in town, easy access to shops, churches. Tula the manager has made a big change whilst managing. Around the whole area(rooms, cabins, dinning and rest rooms are clean) it's a quiet environment to be especially after long days of work.
The manager has made the Backpackers a friendly place to be with people from different culture backgrounds. It's one of the best Backpackers I've ever been to.

Anyone thinking of coming to Hillston for business long or short term or vacation I highly recommend you to stay at Hillston Backpackers.

Me and my partner stayed while working at a local farm. Got a cabin to ourselves with a fridge and TV. Tula was a great help with anything we needed!

Tula is a very kind person. He put a lot of effort into helping me find a job. I will always be grateful and I will never forget it.

Unfortunately did not end up staying but after enquiring about work for the 88 days- within the hour Tula had gone above and beyond to find me a job offer with a bed. Great Manager with top service!

Well hi everyone I’ve been here 2 months ago and it’s a very quite place here I love hillstone backpackers the service here was good and I like how Tulan managed this place because of him this place always look clean and neat even the rooms here a good too but it depends to those who looks after it so yeah I recommend this place for anyone who wants a place to stay here just hillstone backpackers 🙋🏽💯🔥

This place is very convenient and staff is very friendly always helping backpackers. I love the cabins ,it's got toilets, shower, big fridge, TV, AC and heating. I felt it's like my home during my stay. Always it's good for long term stay. I always highly recommend this place to every one visit in Hillston. Trevor you are amazing and very helpful. Also I can't forget Manager John, he was a always nice to everyone and very friendly too. Actually I feel this place like my family place in Australia. Better, nice and very peaceful place in Hillston. All the best .

The Hostel is very nice and very clean. The manager is very friendly, always trying to help the backpackers.
In my case, I rent a private room with my own bathroom, fridge, tv, etc.

Really lovely place! I stayed 5 weeks and met super cool people and had a lot of fun. The management is really nice to you and always try to find you work. Go get a cabin, the privacy and own bathroom is totally worth it. Besides Hillston is a small town with two pubs, so you can save money. Though with the right group of people you can still have epic partys! Can definitely recommend this place and hope to come back in June 2019!

After a seriously shocking experience in Mildura where we lived in appalling accommodation and working conditions we travelled to Hillston with the intention to pick oranges. En route we randomly came across Hillston Backpackers which turned out to be our light at the end of the tunnel. Trevor welcomed us with a warm smile and gave us a guided tour of the accommodation even though it was well past 10pm! He seemed so genuine, kind and interested in what we were doing. He gave us the names of some contractors that he trusted and who he knew would not rip us off, this was exactly what we needed!

The accommodation is brilliant, it is clean, spacious, lots of fridge and freezer space, plenty of showers with warm water and fans in the dorm rooms. There is free tea and coffee AND there is free wifi. This place serves its purpose of being a good honest backpackers with nothing to hide. On top of that the owners will help you find farmwork! If you are in or near Hillston I would definitely recommend this place!

Really good working hostel with a great manager. Try to get a cabine asap, the dorms are not really good for staying longer. You must also have a car cause trevor, the manager does not offer a lift or a hostel car. Had a good time there while working on an almond farm! Thanks Trevor!

Hillston Backpackers is exactly what your looking for, the rooms are great the manager Tula is amazingly helpful, work everywhere, i went twice..

If you're a backpacker looking to do Farmwork to either stack up some money to keep travelling or get your 88 days for the second year visa, this is really where you want to be.

We were tired of just sitting around in Melbourne looking for jobs over the Internet so we decided we would just pick a place and go see what we can do there to get a job. The reason we picked Hillston is because there are alot of crops that grow here that overlap, so there is basically work the whole year around and it's surrounded by farms.

And then we found this place, with Trevor & Paula. They've just opened this place and it's absolutely amazing thanks to them. They are the heart and soul of this place and they will help you get a job in no time. They know everybody in town and will hook you up with the right contractors or farmers (because there are alot of scammers out there).

THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB, also because there isn't much that you can spend your money on around here, it makes it very easy to save up money fast.

Again, thank you so much Trevor & Paula for creating this place and if you're a person reading this, you won't regret coming here.

Honestly one of the best places to stay and meet the most incredible people. I would highly recommend. You never know the love of your life could actually be in Hillston...maybe ;)
