Hotel Dunedoo

Hell yeah, great watering hole. One of my top 5 pubs I recon. A must do to stop in here and have a few frothies on your journey. Dinner was bloody good too, didn’t get a pizza just had steak and chicken snitzl, both were fantastic.

Great food, generous portions and easy going atmosphere, family friendly, unfortunately in the middle of nowhere, can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay.

Loved it. Had dinner with friends here for the first time ever and the meals were awesome. Well priced, food was plentiful and tasted great. Friendly staff and the bistro was clean and tidy. Staff were happy to offer a takeaway dish for what we could eat. Definitely recommend HOTEL DUNEDOO for a great meal.

Pretty good for a country pub, the barmaid was on the ball with our drinks, food was plentiful and nice rooms were clean and tidy, would stop there again no worries

Enjoyed a huge plate of snaggs and vegetables. Went out of my way to praise the chef on the splendid way she cooked the food to perfection. Would nor hesitate to return. Well worth the low cost of the meal. Do yourself a favour if in the area.

I don't need much to give a hotel 5 stars. A warm room and a comfortable bed...I paid extra for a room with a TV so I could watch the footy. There were things I did not like, but they were attended to, (that bright flashing sign outside my room was turned off). The shower was hot and I had a good night's sleep. The food was good. The staff and patrons were friendly. Can't ask for more.

Excellent pub, good value meals. The Angus steak was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Clean showers w good water pressure available for truck drivers w plenty of parking across road from pub.

AWESOME FOOD! Steak was cooked to perfection, surf and turf was fresh and wonderfully done, couldn’t have asked for better service! And for great value! Definitely recommend Dunedoo Hotel - the best place to eat!

What a great pub. Friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. We were visiting from Perth and just happened to drop in and were happy we did. We had a great night meeting the locals over a few drinks and were made to feel very welcome. Their happy hour is from 5.30pm until 6.30pm and you save a dollar on tap beer schooners during this time. There is even accommodation and nice rooms upstairs are only around $50 per night which is very reasonable. There is a nice warm wood fire in the restaurant area and the meals are huge and good value. We had the chicken parmy which was only $22 and so big it was a struggle to eat it all and it was very tasty too. There is a gas heater in the front bar next to the TAB area where you can place your bets or just sit in the bar enjoying the atmosphere. The pool table is in the covered beer garden at the rear of the hotel and games of 8 ball are $3 each. So ignore the strange name, pronounced DunnyDo and make sure you check out this great Aussie landmark.
