Wentworth Sporting Complex Golf Club

Wentworth Sporting Complex Golf Club is the epitome of community sport. The fairways and greens are well maintained by a team of volunteers. The course itself has a creative layout and is challenging to play. It's not up & back like many country town courses. It's picturesque with lakes, an abundance of wildlife and big old trees. The people here are extremely helpful and friendly, particularly to visitors and non-members. Above all, it's very reasonably priced and it's good to know the money is being used so effectively. The course and the club couldn't come more recommended.

We stayed for a night at the large bowling green car park set up for RVs Easy walk to the small town for supper and a drink.

I have played at the golf club for several years and I am constantly impressed with the ongoing service and tireless effort to maintain an improve the facilities, all provided by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Our three day six rounds of golf holiday. We left Adelaide at 4 am and tee’d off at Coomealla by 9.30 and then went off to Wentworth GC in the afternoon. Drove down to Mildura golf resort and stayed overnight - $81. Played Mildura GC in the morning and Merbein GC in the afternoon and then back to Mildura resort overnight. We played Riverside in the morning and then Redcliffs GC and back to Adelaide by 6 pm…… Pretty tired but a wonderful couple of days.
Wentworth has a great layout. It is long and and challenging. Need to play preferred lies. All the greens are undulating…… challenging!!! The course is run by volunteers only. It is only $15 to play.

Attended a Wake at the Wentworth golf club house 🏡 which was self catered. Good rural country venue.
