The restaurant has a new chef and the guy knows about Mediterranean food . You can see from the start to end the balance of flavours between the dishes.
The menu is made to share so was amazing come with friends we felt like we were having a dinner in a restaurant in Greece.
From the pita to the dessert didn’t disappointed the highlight of the night was the perfectly cooked lamb shoulder that matched perfectly with the roasted baby potatoes.
When you think you finish you have delicious dessert so fresh and not heavy at all.
I will definitely come back!!!!

An eclectic joint with simple but elevated Greek food - the condensed menu and open kitchen speaks for itself in terms of quality.
Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and equally delicious. The pita bread was soft and pillowy, the chicken was perfectly charred. Great service and vibes - didn’t feel too stuffy.

Quiet girls night out, House of George had lovely staff who were welcoming and friendly.
Food was great, got the feed me menu and food was plenty!
Started with dips, tartare, eggplant, crackers and skewers, pita and dip and tartare was a highlight.
Mains were spicy brussel sprouts, crispy potatos and perfect cooked lamb!
Funky interior that reflected my dream home and a playlist perfect for a groove

On a busy Saturday night we were lucky to be accommodated by the excellent and helpful staff at Yiasou George.

An awesome dining experience, we got the pita party and out waitress asked us if there was anything we were particularly keen on.

Amazing food and great vibes all round!

Yiasu George is now House of George. Still the same delicious pita bread. The atmosphere is fun with bottles, plants and disco balls along the walls and ceiling. Fantastic playlist in the background. Still focussed on great Mediterranean food. Good wine list. Friendly staff. Even if you're a dedicated carnivore like me make sure you try the celeriac pie!

The food = amazing! I could eat that pita and tzatziki forever. The staff and service were fantastic, and this coming from someone who works in high end customer service, so I know when the staff are providing great service and are enjoying their work - it shows!The ambiance was lovely! My fiance and I were on a date night and were seated out the front, with amazing view of the Fringe, the Garden and street performers, on a beautiful warm summer night - absolutely perfect! Five stars Yiasou George! I'll be back soon for that pita...

First night in Adelaide and rocked in here for dinner. Pumping place. Had the pita party where they bring you an array of dishes. Such a casual vibe but the food was absolutely amazing! Not a dish I didn't enjoy. The lamb was so soft and delicious. The service staff were on point too. Fast service and good description of all the dishes. Walked out absolutely stuffed. This place is a must try!

Had a delightful share meal for 4 which was delicious and more than adequate. The pita with the dips was perfect, the dips could not have been tastier and every course stood out. Wait staff were enjoyable too, if you like banter, which I do. They even threw in a birthday dessert when they overheard why we booked there! Came out at about 40 bucks a head so likelihood is we'll be back.

Having come here for my grandfather’s birthday, the staff went out of their way to make my entire family feel special. Needless to say, the service was second to none, and the food was out of this world. We dined on a beautiful Greek banquet, which featured everything from pita bread with fresh tzatziki to slow cooked lamb. It’s easy to see why this restaurant is the talk of the town.

Walked in for dinner on a Sunday evening. Service was excellent (friendly and efficient), the food was delicious and filling. We enjoyed the cocktails and their use of Greek spirits. The interior fit-out and art was interesting to look at and created a great atmosphere. As close to Greece as we will get for a while! Highly recommend visiting for a modern dining experience.

I don’t know why I waited so long to try YG - our dining experience was faultless and we were super impressed by the trendy fit our and electric vibe of the place. Already excited, my heart skipped a beat when the taramasalata was served with warm, fresh pita - wow. The octopus - double wow. The saganaki - triple wow. The duck breast - pushed me over the edge - drools

My sister and I were visiting Adelaide and stumbled across HOG as a recommendation online. We LOVED our experience - the staff are so friendly and create such a lovely evening for their guests, the atmosphere is next level cool, and not to mention the FOOD!!!! You need to go with starving bellies, so you can eat as much as you can on their menu. We look forward to visiting when we are in Adelaide next!

A modern Greek restaurant, most of the usual suspects but with a new twist that pays off. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of the menu items we came for, they must be going through some changes, but all of what we had was absolutely delicious and would come back for it. Gotta get the Saganaki, Lamb Shoulder and those Ricotta Doughnuts.

Dinner at @yiasou_george. Delicious food!! I think it's better compared to the last time we came here, which was close to a year ago. They really make good use of their wood oven! It was a busy Friday night, but the food came out super quick. Our waiter did get a couple of our orders wrong, but it was minor, and didn't really take much away from our dining experience.

Baba ganoush with pita bread: really tasty eggplant dip (great smokey flavour), and the pita was nice and warm from the wood oven.

Haloumi: super super yummy!! Can't go wrong with haloumi 😅😜🤤😍.

Woof fired king prawns: wow this was so good!! I love how they pretty much cook everything in their wood oven. It gives it the best flavours 😍😍😍.

Spiced cauliflower: super yummy! If there's a cauliflower dish, we will order it. This was just great!

Squid: omg this dish was soooo good!!! The squid was super tender, and again there was a really nice smokey flavour. Highly recommended dish.

Wood fired lamb shoulder: omgggggg! The outer bit was crispy, and the inside was super super tender! Just perfectly done 🤤😍😃. I think this dish is a must order, especially if you like lamb.

Barbequed chilli chicken: just a little bit of chilli, and it was really tender 🤤🤤. Really nice!

Broccolini side dish: can't go wrong with this 😃.

Brussel sprouts: I'm not normally a big fan of them, but these were just perfect 👌👌😍🤤.

Loukoumades - slightly on the dough-y side, but still very enjoyable. I think they could've made this dish a bit more creative though!

Our experience at House of George was truly faultless. The inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff made our visit memorable. We'll definitely be returning.

Our waitress Monet was absolutely fabulous! The food couldn’t have been any better, the taramasalata dip was to die for and there was a lovely ambience sitting outside. 5*

My girlfriend and I tried an impromptu visit to House of George after walking by. We were both thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. Service was attentive, and the food was served promptly.

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant the food was so delicious and there wine & spirit selection has a great range of good Australian and Mediterranean drinks. Not to forget the really cool interior with the painted wall illustrations. Definitely a place we will come back too.

We had a fabulous meal. Service was attentive but not overdone. Dips of spiced eggplant and tatziki and halloumi as starters were lovely. The lamb shoulder, roast chicken and cauliflower were all excellent.
