The Caves Country Pub

Very nice staff, food was very delicious and well presented. The decor and atmosphere was that of a nice county pub, however the meals were at a restraunt level with taste and presentation. Can also recommend the caves Lager.

Travelling from the Hunter Valley NSW, After visiting the caves we called into The Caves Country Pub and I must say it was a pleasurable experience. The staff were friendly, food was amazing. There was a table of 11 of us we all had the burgers, wraps, and Salt and Pepper Calarmari none of us could fault our meals.

Awesome pub could do with aircon over hot spells but a great family country pub. I stop in for a meal everytime I drive past. Hard to see from main Rd during daylight but lights up at night which is how I found it. Great service great staff well priced food.

Unfortunately, we missed lunch by 8 mins so left hungry HOWEVER the lovely barmaid recommended the general store for takeaway and to eat it at the pub with our drinks, which was awesome 👌 The Country Pub had heaps of character and the service was fantastic....Def be stopping on the next roadtrip 💯🍻

Delicious!
Steaks were cooked well and were piping hot, chicken was tender and juicy and the side salad was crisp and fresh.
Another positive was the fact that while there is no kids pizza on the menu, when I asked about it the staff were more than happy and accommodating in making one up for the young bloke which I was very thankful for.
The prices for the food you receive are very reasonable.

Food was amazing. The oysters are to die for & the steak was amazing. The service is great, lovely staff.
If ever passing through again definitely will be stopping in.

We can't praise this place enough. Fabulous people, fantastic food, beer & coffee. Excellent value for money & a very welcoming atmosphere. Yep, we loved it!

Possibly the best steak ever, hands down awesome. Cooked to perfection. A quiet pub with helpful staff, easy access and parking close to it. If you are passing through you have to stop for their steak. Yummy!

A great place to enjoy good country service and food. Plenty of tables to sit at and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Nice friendly country pub. I give reviews based on areas and expectation and this pub was exactly what I expected.

Authentic outback country as you want when you travel around.

Pros:

- tidy
- cheap prices
- outdoor seating
- food
- friendly staff

Cons:

- no sports on tvs (not. Much here to say other than that)

Recommendations:

- something to keep the ball and chain. Entertained.
- men's toilet needs some love.

Only downside is Google had the wrong opening hours and Facebook pages didn't mention later opening either. Otherwise fantastic!

Absolutely enjoyable, we only did the 45 min tour but was fantastic and a awesome guide made the whole experience excellent.
And then stop at the Country Pub on the way out you will not regret it.

Filled steak was so soft and mash room sauce went so well with the steak! My girlfriends got the chicken parmi. Both of food deserved 5 stars👌
