Ventnor Hotel

We had lunch there on New Year's Day and the meals we had were absolutely fantastic.
I had the Japanese oysters for entree and the prawn spaghetti for a main.

These meals were delicious and would definitely recommend you try them.

BEST PUB WE BEEN TO! Got the porterhouse steak 👌🏼 cooked lovely, Dianne sauce the best one I’ve tried, lovely folks and regular pricing. Was a bit worried about going because of some of the reviews but could not fault it. To top it they had great high chairs our son hates feeling like he has different stuff to us but there high chairs put him level and got to eat on our table like a little grown up he loved it.

Arrived on a very busy night. The staff were lovely and helpful. The meal was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

There chicken snitzels where to die for..excellent service and the chef s cooking of the food was fantastic..well done everyone at the ventnor hotel...but the drinks were expensive thou....p.s can't have everything.....

The Lambs Fry and Thai beef salad was delicious.

Last time we were here was about 25 years ago, the dining room is new! Very happy dinner experience two nights in a row so far this trip..

Nice smoked salmon poke bowl except the alfalfa sprouts and edamame
The sriracha aioli was okay
Carrots, cucumber, cabbage, sushi rice and smoked salmon was great

Very friendly staff, great meals and a superb view. Couldn’t recommend more if I tried.

4 of us went in for a Sunday night meal. The dining room is comfortable. The staff were friendly and courteous.
The meals were lovely.
I had the seafood spaghetti! Absolutely wonderful! One of the best things I've eaten.

Great meal and wonderful beer garden area where you can relax and take in the great sea views. There was a TV personality having dinner with his family there so bonus for us.

The garlic bread entree was actually 4 pieces but we gobbled 2 of them before remembering to take pictures. Delicious and light, full of flavour. Then came the Cooper's Beer Battered King George Whiting. 2 HUGE Pieces, lovely salad, home made tartare sauce and enough chips to feed yourself, kids and the pets. I'm sure the fisherman had dropped off an Esky of the Whiting to the pub this morning. It is one of their most popular dishes. It is so fresh, melt in your mouth. Complimented by original Sars liquid mixed with soda, ice and lemon ... Very refreshing.

Newly decorated dining area, bars and amenities. Great value day trip or even stay the weekend.

We come here a few times a year. It's an easy 2 & 1/2 hour drive from Adelaide, great for a Saturday/Sunday lunch on a normal weekend or a weekday, but ofcourse it is the 4 day long weekend when this review was written and the town was extra jumping!😁

Schnitzels we’re amazing, good thick gravy and chips were nice. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Overall great place.

Fantastic Food! Went on the Friday had to go back on the Saturday because it was so delicious and fresh. Staff are very friendly and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone passing by

If you like a beef snitty! stop here! I had a beef kirkpatrick and it hanged over the plate salad was fresh crispy and had dressing... did not fault the meal at all.. Front bar happy hour you beaut! When im next in yorkes I will come back! country pub vibes!

Excellent set menu for our ladies Xmas lunch. Compliments to the chef and thank you to Merridy and the staff for setting a lovely table.

Lovely pub/ restaurant right on the water and has really nice dining room facing the water. Has a UBET section at the back with a Sip n Save. Clean and tidy place with friendly staff. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here.
