A spot that deserves more recognition due to its beautiful views and proximity to Sydney. The road to the lookout is rough, and I recommend a 4x4 with some clearance. You could probably make it there in a "regular" car but risk damaging it.

It's a great place to appreciate the views of the sacred Aboriginal mountain and learn about the history of the local peoples.

Like the rest of the reviews , to access you definitely need a 2WD or better if is 4WD. Very rough and many holes. However the view is worth the trip. Stunning!

This is worth the short trip out of Laguna. A very peaceful location with stunning views and secluded, quiet campsites. One of my favorite places to be true for a day trip on the ADV bike. Search my name on YouTube to see the full video!

The road Finchley lookout is a bit rough at times. We did it in a two wheel drive , but it was worth it. We did see great views over Yengo National Park and read a bit of the local aboriginal history. Later on, we went to see the aboriginal carvings a bit further down the road

Extremely beautiful drive and lookout. If it wasn't so hot today we would have gone hiking as well. So much history and would recommend hiring a local guide. We used our SUV but to be honest the roads are bumpy and steep at some points so wouldn't recommend going in a car. This place should be on everyone's go to list.

A beautiful spot to visit with panoramic views. You'll need nothing smaller than a capable AWD vehicle to get here, but it's totally worth the drive. Take a picnic and enjoy the serenity. The info boards are informative and well placed too.

Great spot for a picnic, follow the steps of early explorers, check out aboriginal art just up the road.
