Cafe Clipper & Bar

Was a lovely lunch. Drinks and food were yummy, cafe was clean with nice bright open spaces. Plenty of seating options. Nice coffee. Service was great. Toilets were super clean. Nothing negative to say. We will definitely return again soon.

Went for the Friday night $15 fish & chip special with a pint. It was definitely worth it. Hubby ordered the sticky pork ribs & miss ordered a parmi. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Casual & relaxed atmosphere. Staff were great, very attentive & engaging.

Hubby and I took mum for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was exceptional, atmosphere relaxing and the food and coffee were delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Four of us visited the Cafe Clipper for the Seafood Stack Special. As we entered, we could sense the homely atmosphere of the place.

The decor was minimal, sober and quite pleasing to the eyes. As one of us did not eat seafood, manager Dean agreed to provide meat items for this one person. Both the seafood and meat selections were very tasty and plentiful. All of us were quite satisfied with the serves and the taste. A complimentary glass of champagne was provided before the meal.

Hostess Jody and her colleagues looked after our table very well. Dessert too was very flavourful.

Restrooms were very clean and hygenically maintained. All in all, we had a good evening at Cafe Clipper and will surely return.

Really great food, relaxing and terrific service, we go regularly for breakfast, lunch and dinner and are never disappointed, try it !!

I have been there today for melbourne cup lunch, the food choice is divine !

Staff were lovely

We had a scoupon voucher. When we pulled up, we wondered what we’d got ourselves into. Since we were early we drove up the rd & read the reviews. They all sounded good. Upon arrival we were met by friendly non judgemental staff (unusual when it comes to scoupon vouchers) who delivered a value for money meal. In fact this was the best value for money we’ve ever had from scoupon. We got 6 alcoholic drinks & a platter for two for $55. Ive has scoupon platters a few times & they haven’t been as filling as this one. Even the prices on the menu seemed very reasonable & as we were walking in, we saw another couple around our age (mid 40’s) walking out & heard them saying how much they enjoyed their meal. I’m giving 5 stars out of 5 for value, friendliness, speed of service & quality of food. I’ve eaten at high end places & obviously this isn’t one of those but it’s not $90/head either. I’ll happily return to Clipper cafe & bar.

Fabulous. We had a scoupon voucher, food was beautifully presented and excellent. Our waitress Jodie was happy, pleasant and friendly and made us feel very welcome and special. Will go back again, thoroughly enjoyed.

The best coffee in town with friendly and helpful staff.

I had dinner there prior to attending a labor Party meeting there. The food was lovely, the service was really nice. I will definitely go back there again. Very nice environment. Great experience overall.

Brilliant food. Brilliant service. They had a function on and apologised for our having to wait, but in all honesty, wait time was minimal. Lovely staff and food is great. Definitely recommend anyone having a meal here or just coffee and cake

Often have our girls catch up here. Service is always friendly and never judge an early morning cocktail. Food is always great and not overly expensive.

I was with a group, the service was good and the staff professional and well trained. I ordered a roast vegetable stack, it was nice and flavoursome. The environment is lovely with some autumn sunshine coming through 👍

Cafe Clipper really is a hidden treasure on the Rockingham foreshore. Just back from the water , such a great little restaurant. We go there a lot.... Because little Georgie can came with us and we sit in the alfresco area.
Good cocktails, specials, good selection of beers and the food is delicious and presented really well.

Great food and the best staff. Now doing evenings, Christmas in July and a new Kids eat free deal.

Wow - great food and service - have driven past this place many times and written it off as a “motel” type restaurant - what a nice surprise - super friendly staff and well priced excellent food - highly recommend!
