Clarrie the Cobbler

I took my road bike for a cycle into Cavendish, and when I got home; I realised I’d gotten a puncture in the front tyre.

As a relatively new cyclist, I wasn’t sure how to change the tyre. So I did some Googling and called up ‘Clarrie the Cobbler’ and fortunately I was able to bring my bike in straight away!

Mark and Sally are such lovely people! When you start talking to Mark, you can quickly hear the years of experience in cycling and bike mechanics he has.

Mark patiently showed me how to remove the punctured tyre and replace it with a new one, he also made sure I had everything I needed including spare parts and knowledge in case it happened again while I was out on the road… As this is a common occurrence for cyclists.

Great value service on my son's bike. It was well worth getting this local small business to fix it rather than take it back to Ballarat (the original place of purchase). They went above and beyond and were very friendly too.

They do a great job, but the time you have to wait is ridiculous. A job which can be done in an afternoon you'll have to wait 1 to 4 weeks for...I had to wait three to four weeks and only got them because I followed up twice.

Absolutely the worst service! Destroyed my autistic daughters first real quality boots leaving her in tears. Would not admit fault even though it was easily pointed out, just wanted to snatch boots and try to hide it. Recommend avoiding unless you want your things destroyed. Taking the boots elsewhere as the whole heel and now sole also will have to be replaced due to damage.
