Parmelia Medical Centre

Have been coming here since it opened many years ago about 20 yrs. Many Drs come and go but have always recieved wonderful help and service here. 👍 👍 my dr has been here a couple of years so I'm lucky. Sometimes i can't get in to see her but all the Drs are lovely so it dosent matter.

This medical centre has Definitely stepped it up over the years , a friendly and helpful reception and appointments don't take long at all . The nurses are so good to have there aswell . Very good

Cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Chabanis and Dr. Olukolu 🙌. Excellent GPs who are welcoming and listen to you and educate you. My favourite medical centre in the area.

They cant seem to keep there dotors for more then a couple of months . Be good if they can keep there doctors.

After having waited for a (new to me) doctor who was running late for work, I was surprised at how abrupt she was when I eventually got to see her. I have never before been told that I could not ask any more questions as my time was up, and for her to turn her back to me to focus on the computer without even saying goodbye was doubly shocking. Whilst I realise that it is in everyone's best interest to keep the patient list flowing smoothly, I had a couple of issues I needed addressing and was barely allowed 10 mins to do it in. It was left to the pharmacist to explain how I should use the medication I was prescribed. I have known some really good doctors at this medical centre but obviously at least one needs a bit of empathy, or at least lessons in good manners.

I've been coming to this centre for years going on maybe a decade and in the past year there has been a server decline in quality. The doctors just want to push you on to someone else and the wait times are always very long. I've even been the first appointment of the day and somehow they are still running late. I went in with a case of shingles yesterday and requested anti-virals (standard treatment I've done this before) I was given a note for the hospital (which did not mention shingles at all!) and told to go to the hospital if it gets worse and they'll help me. You need medicine within 72 hours of symptoms or things get a lot worse and you can lose your sight. I got a second opinion and was helped immediately. The only reason I have this as a 2 star and not a 1 is the nurses and receptionists are always lovely and very helpful, I have nothing against them just the Doctors who have been hired over the year.

I understand that the medical centre is a busy place but frontline reception need not be so abrupt on the phones I find this extremely rude. The next day I ring back as my son has come out in a rash to be turned away and told to go somewhere else I told them I didn't have transport she said those are the options wonder how she would feel if it was Herr family member word of mouth spreads fast and I sure will never recommend this centre and will let others know of the attitude this centre allows.

I made a appointment on their Easy Visit app with Dr Ruston 3 weeks ago as he is always booked out for my daughter. Only to turn up on the day and time to get told it was for another doctor that I had never even heard off.. Not Happy Karen

Got to my appointment on time and reception told me "won't be long and to takea seat in the waiting room". I waited 30mins and still didn't see the doctor, but the nurse called me in for my injections. Other times, I was able to go straight to the nurses for injection. So disappointed with the service.

My friend has liver and bowel disease. He has been collecting his own blood results for the past 25 years from his former doctors. When he requested the results of his blood tests here the staff were abrupt and rude and refused to offer up the information claiming only a doctor can give out results and he needs to make an appointment. This is extortion and its at the txpayers expence. When he pressed the staff one rude lady started yelling and slapping the counter. He then quoted the privacy act 1988 and told her she must offer up my information and still she refused. He returned 15 minutes later with a written request under the privacy act 1988 (Cth) and she was even more rude and abusive. He left the letter there with a notice to offer up within 72 hours of face Federal court action. They are drunk with power at this medical centre!!

Theres 2 other people in the surgery and I've still been waiting an hour past my appointment time.
Pathetic, i only come here when I need a script
But i will never come here again ever.
Neither will any of my family.
So unprofessional

Waited for 2 hours and the doctor initial EB keep skip me for other patients who he thinks "more important than me" then gave me excuse that my name didn't show up on his computer screen..yeah right if it only happen once maybe true but happen 3 times??? Seriously!

Terrible, I stopped going there, for the last two times the admin stuffed up my booking, I don't know what goes on behind that desk but they are pathetic. Like a lot of the Doctor's that have left that center, I'm never going back too.

Poor service for a community medical service. Long wait times beyond appointed meeting time and not helpful when relatively simple services are requested.
