After a quick trip up & down Mt Lofty this morning it's safe to say we we built up a bit of an appetite 😋
I decided to try their Bacon & Egg Brioche
and my standard almond milk Cappuccino
Oh I also choose to add a little more egg & bacon to my breakfast burger because it's all about the protein Lol 🥓🍳🍔☕
Base Camp Cafe is a cool place to eat and I. A perfect location. Highly recommended 👌

This is our new local - the proprietor chatted to us the whole time and introduced us to some locals. It was fabulous! They have a great range of wines and spirits, and they are open from 6am for coffee 7 days a week! Love it!

Tucked away from the main road, this cafe has the nicest outdoor garden seating; which becomes more shaded in the afternoon. Perfect for lunch.

Coffee was good, as was the toasted chicken breast with avocado and salami piadina. The palisade is made with flatbread.

In the picture, you can visualise the thickness of the avocado and chicken in the photo. It's a well-made sandwich that balances the bread.

On another occasion, the macadamia and chocolate brownie, some coffees, and a small bottle of champagne were perfect for an afternoon treat. Basecamp is still 5 stars.

For a busy cafe, the food and drinks came out in good time. A really nice atmosphere it's a perfect venue for after a hike or run.

Great little cafe in Burnside that I've been to a number of times. Super friendly staff. Simple layout. Amazing menu items. Well done guys! Keep it up.

Although the restaurant was nice, the menu was confusing. Despite this, I still enjoyed my experience. Rating: 10/10 👏👏

Lovely out door area ... large menu to select from ...we had the vegetable piadina, berry smoothie and coffee all delicious ... prompt service and friendly staff !

I lived this place. The food was great and the drink was delicious. I would definitely recommend for a hearty breakfast. Portion size is great. Definitely worth a visit.

Dropped in here on a few occasions when I'm in Adelaide after a Morialta or Water fall gully walk. They do great coffee and juices. Tried an Avo smash on sourdough and it was super tasty

All served by friendy and helpful staff.
Definitely a return visit is needed.

After being treated like garbage across the road, Base Camp welcomed me with An amazing smile and hello. Beautiful coffee and beautiful service

Delightful spot to relax in the sun and enjoy a coffee and cake after our walk to WaterfallGully. The extra heating was appreciated

Good for an early morning juice. I had the Basecamp Immunity.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee, which was made with efficiency. The fire was on which made for a cozy spot to wait while the coffee was brewing. I perused the menu while I waited and it didn't disappoint, I plan to return with some friends for brunch soon.

My daughter stole one of the flowers off your patio. Sorry. In exchange, here's a good review to balance out the weird antivaxxer reviews.

PS. Ice coffee, ham cheese croissant, and banana bread were all top form, and patio was heckin chill.

Excellent food, great juices, a little slow, but I guess it was well worth the wait

I often come here after a hike in the area and I've always been pleased with the food & drinks as well as the service.

Nice atmosphere too. Whether seated outdoors or inside, it's spacious enough to not feel too busy or crowded. If you like smoothies, do yourself a favour and try the Basecamp Caramel! 😋

Nice place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat following a hike through Adelaide Hills. Staff are usually friendly, the coffee is good and the food is fresh. Have been here several times and expect to do the same in future.
