What a great beach!
And with some of the best views in Western Australia!

Just outside of Perth,

Penguin Island and Cape Peron are simply awesome for snorkeling and relaxing.

Fabulous beach if it’s a calm day, crystal clear water and the odd Dolphin. Go in the morning before the “Fremantle doctor” arrives.

Beach opposite Lions Park in Shoalwater was AMAZING today. Not a breath of wind.
Had a really nice swim, then watched paddle-boarders cruise out between Penguin Island and Seal Island

Park was beautiful and enjoyed by many others. People bike riding. walking dogs. Young ones playing in the sand pit. Grassed area in good condition. The beach was 2 minute walk.

There is a concrete path to the beach that is from the carpark.
The water was nice and calm due to the protection from the islands. It looks like a great spot for snorkeling as no spearfishing is allowed

Brilliant location for kayaking, SUPing, snorkelling, swimming or visiting the islands. Or even pay for one of the awesome dolphin, seal and penguin tours. It can be very windy so pick your time. Or go kite surfing.
