Delicious Butter Chicken, best I’ve tried in town. It is mild but has a good depth of flavour and warmth, good amount of meat. Naan Bread is the best in Alice Springs, we got a cheese and garlic naan, it was nicely cooked (not under done or burnt) and lots of melted cheese. Phoned at 6pm when it opened took about 40mins, which was what I was told as well upon ordering.

When I say that the malai kofta was good, I mean that it was life changing, best curry I’ve ever had, mind bendingly good. I may even fly to Alice to just to eat it again. Things will never be the same again. Thank you Tandoor Express for giving me the best culinary experience one could ask for.

The butter chicken is excellent. I would recommend just about anything on the menu. Compliments to the chef.

We came across this restaurant while strolling through Alice springs in the evening. The restaurant food counters were empty at that time, but the gentleman there said any order would be ready soon. We ordered takeaway Dhaba style chicken masala (on his recommendations), Naans and rice. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The dhaba style Chicken was absolutely delicious with very good blend of Spices, fragrence of fresh green chillies & coriander etc. The Naans were hot & fluffy. The servings were big/plentiful. If you are after authentic Indian cuisine, you can't go past this restaurant (dine in or take away) in Alice springs.

You could walk pass this place and not even notice it is there.
However, once you stop and try their food, it will be a must to try every time you are in Alice Springs. A fantastic presentation of the unique flavours of Indian cuisine!

I ate here twice on a recent visit to Alice Springs. Had their chicken tikka, palak paneer, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. All were delicious! Authentic taste and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Ordered Spicy Paneer Tandoor Wrap, were told it will be ready in 20-25 minutes, went to pick it up at the scheduled time & the wrap was ready, hassle free ordering, pick up & on top of that delicious & yummy Wrap, will definitely order again soon.
