Luke Simon Photography

I had a corporate portrait photography shoot with Luke Simon Photography and it was great! Luke made me feel comfortable in my own surroundings and I loved all the shots. We hosted the session in an early education centre and Luke was able to capture the surroundings without the children being in the photos which was great. I can't wait to get Luke back to some of our larger functions we run this year to capture more shots of my team and I.

We were very happy with Luke's work for our wedding photos at Mount Lofty House. The photos looked amazing and captured our day perfectly. A lot of guests commented on how easy it was to take photos with Luke. He was professional and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend Luke's photography!

Luke was nothing short of amazing. He made us all so comfortable and all our guests commented on how brilliant he was on the day. The photos are just insane, we could not be happier! We're not the most camera comfortable people but we were so relaxed and Luke and Yani were so much fun on the day we almost forgot we were getting our photos taken and just enjoyed the moment.
We really wanted some amazing landscape and night portraits and boy did he deliver. We would have been happy with one or two but our only complaint is that there are so many good ones it took forever to choose which ones to print!!

His eye for detail as well as broad range of skills, enables him to adapt his style for the most discerning private or commercial clients. Luke is 110% the man that you want to shoot your wedding.
From the very first email, without even meeting him I knew I had to have Luke shoot our wedding. Back when COVID first hit was when we started planning to meeting all out vendors was a real issue. Luke was an amazing help throughout the whole process, even linking up up with a videographer.
On the day Luke was simply party of the family and mixed with all of our guests like he had known them forever, many still raving about how amazing he is. He worked so hard to capture absolutely every moment, from the picture perfect Hollywood love moments to the Candid shots. The quality of his phots are just amazing! We were both so nervous about taking photos, but Luke made every moment fun and we all had plenty on laughs together, He has provided us with so many memories of the fun moments on our big day that we will cherish for a life time.

I highly recommend Luke and cannot wait to begin creating out Wedding Album with him and hopefully in the near future we can use Luke again or see him at friends weddings :)

The long:
Luke is a fantastic wedding photographer. As a photographer myself I was rather picky about who we were going to book, and we are beyond satisfied with our choice in Luke.

The important stuff:
1. Luke is very experienced and this translates on the day. He rolled with the flow (spontaneous dip kiss, running down the flower throw etc), kept us all running on time (e.g. “hey boys it’s probably time to get suited up”), and ultimately fit right into the bridal party like he’d known us for years.

2. He worked with our guests. I swear I saw a guests (family or friend) phone in his hand almost as much as his camera, yet he still got so many fantastic shots for us. Kept the guests happy and us happy while making it look effortless.

3. Went above and beyond when no one was looking. We had multiple reports the next day from guests about how lovey Luke was just in general (I.e. helping people find things at the venue so they didn’t have to trek out in the wet).

4. Might not be a big one for most, but he involved us in the process without being a gate keeper about his role. He let me shoot some photos and help him get some great shots of my wife. As a photographer I never realised how much shooting some of my own wedding would matter to me, but it was one of the best parts of the day for me.

Our wedding was the greatest day of our lives and I know it wouldn’t have been as easy going or magical without Luke. If you’re lucky enough to book him, I know you will have a great day and some stellar photos.

Luke has recorded a number of the City of Unley's events that bring communities together. His photography is technically excellent, and also demonstrates the ability to capture special moments of connection between people, the essence of a good cameraperson. Luke's recent shoot for the City of Unley showed the size and scale of the final leg on the Tour Down Under race start on King William Road. He ably captured the excitement and colour of the day, but also homed in on intimate images of riders, and interaction with members of the public, as well as corporate shots that provide us with future promotional photo options. Terrific work and would recommend Luke to any business or corporation for his approach and the quality of final images.

Luke and the team made our wedding such an awesome experience. They made everyone feel comfortable, had plenty of laughs and created some amazing shots that we will cherish forever. Could not recommend them more highly.

Luke is a brilliant photographer!! He has a natural talent to capture the most amazing memories and bringing them to life!! I am VERY VERY glad my partner and I booked him in to capture the true essence of all these memories. Any other events - we definitely without a doubt will recommend Luke to other people and also get him for our own events in the future (whenever we have any). Photography is a beautiful skill and to have that much of creativity in one's mind and then bringing it to life! it is such a wow factor! thank you Luke for making us laugh and for contributing to our special day :D

Luke was exceptional as our wedding photographer! From the first meeting to the end result, we were very happy with everything. On the day there were weather challenges, including a blackout in the church! He was cool, calm and professional. He had all the equipment to get through the day, including emergency lighting for the church! We feel a bit guilty it has taken a while to post this review, but we got to it finally. All we can say is if you are looking for a great photographer to snap your special day, Luke is your man!

It was such a pleasure working with Luke and I am so glad he was there to capture our wedding. From the moment we connected via email until the final edits were sent through he was so professional, communicative and accommodating.

Planning a wedding is stressful and Luke made me feel so at ease because he had everything under control.
On the day he really made an impression on my family being so efficient and friendly. He was even able to put my photo-shy husband at ease with fabulous results. Multiple guests commented how much of a nice guy he was and how he just fit right into the party. I think this made all the difference because he was able to capture so many beautiful candids of our guests.

Luke is the man you want to shoot your Wedding! The quality of his shots were epic and he has the perfect mix of professionalism and affability. On the day, he seamlessly integrated into the festivities and worked tirelessly, and as a result he was able to capture both the "Hollywood moments" but also so many candid shots that perfectly captured all the memories, moments and personalities of our big day.

Also highly recommend investing in a Wedding Album which are "glossy bookshop" quality and such a great keepsake for the day.

Top notch. Beautiful photos and excellent communication. We hired Luke to shoot our wedding and he made the whole experience so much less stressful. He was kind, professional and so easy to work with. And he got the final photos to us much sooner than I expected. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

I've engaged Luke for a number of both corporate and family shoots. Luke is a master of his craft. He is able to quickly build rapport and warm up a crowd. Luke can effortlessly drop into the background to capture a corporate event, or other times wrangle a bunch of unruly toddlers for that perfect family shot. The images captured are the proof of his skill, and we are especially amazed how Luke was able to get fabulous natural shots of my kids mid-trantrum. Highly recommend Luke for any family, wedding, or work event.

11/10 - would recommend! We planned our Adelaide wedding from interstate and Luke made the whole process seamless. When we met with Luke he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, we just knew he was our photographer (that combined with his incredible photography skill!). His experience meant none of our questions were unanswered and he was also able to provide advice and suggestions on things we didn’t even think of.

Luke is so flexible and responsive and makes the day about exactly what you want. It felt like we had an old friend shooting our wedding, we were able to have a chat and crack a joke which made everyone so relaxed, and it really shows in the photos.
