Fugazzi Bar & Dining Room

Based on a local recommendation we were greeted by Bella who indulged us in a truly delightful dining experience at Fugazzi. Bellas recommendations led us to savor a delectable 5 course tasting that exceeded our expectations. The culinary excellence was complemented by impeccable service and a charming ambience, creating a memorable fine dining evening for our anniversary. We look forward to recommending Fugazzi to people visiting Adelaide.

The food, cocktails and service were all exceptional. We walked in off the street with no reservation and were able to get a table for 2 on New Years Eve which greatly surprised us. Our waiter was very attentive and checked on us frequently. The garlic butter oysters, lamb skewers, pastas and wagyu steak were all very good, steak was cooked perfectly. There was an error on my bill but it was promptly fixed with no issue once I pointed it out, we will definitely return in the future.

Nice restaurant in center north of Adelaide. We sat in the booth area that nice and cosy, just that the small round tables are a bit tiny for the four of us. However, food was good - calamari entree, beef and the pasta dishes are all very tasty. They also have good wine selections.

Impeccable service from the excellent team. There were several demanding clients the evening we went and the team handled them with grace.

The food was superb, really nothing but happy words to describe the rich flavours and beautiful textures. I highly recommend the pasta (obvs).

The venue is also charming and reminiscent of the 'pop' style the trendy restaurants had in the '00s, but upgraded to a timeless aesthetic.

Incredible food. Good service. The pasta, scallops, whipped ricotta and steak were stand outs.

A must visit

Headed by Adelaide’s leading restauranteur, Simon Kardachi, and prominent husband and wife chefs Laura Sharrad (ex-Masterchef) and Max Sharrad (2018 Australian Young Chef of the Year), we decided to reserve a table for our Sunday dinner. Only managed to get the late dinner sitting at 8pm. Food are great. Every dish is spot on even the French fries which are nice and crispy. Both pastas are great. Mrs likes the crabmeat pasta whereas the kids like the heavier pork and fennel pasta. The 350gm Black Angus Sirloin is done perfectly at Medium Rare. All of us have our favorites for the evening but for me, it is the roasted Brussels sprouts. Unfortunately they ran out of Tiramisu but both desserts we ordered are good. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious food! We ordered a la carte but we worked out for he feed me menu was worth more value, calculating the table next to us. We ordered zucchini flowers & salmon crisps for snacks. 100% must order the crisps. Entree tuna capers was a stunner. Crab hand pulled pasta was the winner hands down for main course!! The atmosphere was rather loud & tables are set quite close together which dulls the mood for a romantic night out without listening to the tables conversation next to you. Toilets were very interesting layout, men & women share the washing facilities which was a bit awkward.

Editing my comment as I re-visited this place after 2 days for another time bringing in colleagues to try.

But I regret visiting as I got humiliated by an unprofessional restaurant manager called Aron whom was unwelcoming & extremely rude!!!

I was seated in a table with a light bulb directly hitting my eye which would lead me into an immediate migraine & for you who suffer from migraines could imagine how horrific the pain is that can last for 2 days.
So we transferred to an adjacent table but one of the waitresses told us that this table was booked & asked us to move back n she will turn off the light.
They haven’t done anything n I couldn’t stand the light so I was able to take the bulb out but this has pushed a nerve off Aron to the extent I could feel his sharp n disrespectful looks from across the table.
As soon as he approached the table I opened up by an apology n explaining the reason of doing this.
To my surprise he responded back in the most disrespectful way that humiliated & embarrassed me between my colleagues.

If this place is after a good reputation & a decent customer service then this gentleman should be taught how to pay respect to his clients or either stop working in a position facing customers!!

OMG, this is one of the BEST restaurants I have ever tried in my life!!!
The food was redicilously AMAZING!
Rich in flavours yet you enjoy the actual taste of each item.

We have enjoyed every bit of what we ordered.
We tried Oysters, Scallops, Grilled Calamari, Leafy Salad, Gnocco fritters with ricotta n honey spread n chips.

I couldn’t recommend this place more so please make sure you try it out whenever you’re in Adelaide

TJ, Errol and team were excellent with their service, attention to detail and overall energy. Had the 5 course tasting menu and it was absolutely amazing, not to mention the watermelon mocktail just hits the spot. Must visit if you’re ever in Adelaide.

Was recommended to come here by family as we were visiting from melbourne.
Considering melbs food scene, fugazzi is honestly amazing and can defs compete.
Everything was exceptionally good including the alcohol.
Personal fav dish was the whipped ricotta and honey gnocco fritto which says a lot about how good it is considering im such a meats guy.
And to top it off we received the best service from our waitress Natasha. Big shout out to her as it was the best service we'd received from any restaurant during our stay in Adelaide.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I can't even recall how many times I've enthusiastically recommended it to others ever since we had our incredible dining experience there. I must start by expressing my appreciation for the exceptional service we received. The chefs and wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions during pregnancy, while ensuring that my partner enjoyed the regular set menu. The food itself is absolutely flawless. Even the modified dishes I had were absolutely delicious! I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to try the set menu again in the near future, when I can savour all the dishes I couldn't enjoy during my previous visit.

The perfect place for our wedding anniversary date night. Delicious cocktails, genuinely friendly & accommodating service. Buzzing atmosphere but without all the noise & the food is not only beautifully presented it is also high quality & very yummy,! Can't wait to go back!

Amazing New York inspired Italian restaurant! It is more suited for special occasions rather than a rrgular eatery though given the prices but it is worth it.
Service is very professional rather than friendly but still caters to any need quickly.

All the food is presented nicely with flavour combinations working well with each dish. Recommendations being the gnocco frito and blue swmmer crab taglierini with roe.

The food is to die for, staff is very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Pasta a la vodka, appetisers, everything was just perfect!

Number one restaurant in Adelaide, can't recommend it enough. Food was outstanding! Top favourites were whipped ricotta, salmon crisp & the smoked ricotta occhi pasta. Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Will come anytime im back in Adelaide

We enjoyed a delightful evening at Fugazzi last night. The service was impeccable, with attentive waiters well-versed in the menu. The atmosphere was charming, not overly loud, and the restaurant is more spacious than expected.

We indulged in drinks and ordered the Flat Iron Steak Frites and the Sirloin—both remarkably tasty.

Looking forward to returning for another enjoyable experience!

Amazing food, great service and a beautifully appointed restaurant in the heart of Adelaide.
I've eaten at many high end Italian restaurants and this one would have to be at the top of the list.
All the meals were well presented, tasty and interesting. Not your standard Italian fare at all. Good serving sizes too, so come on an empty stomach. Would definitely travel from Melbourne to Adelaide again to eat at Fugazzi again. Highly recommend.
