Really lovely service! Both the waitress and chef were happy to chat after our meal and were very friendly considering we were walk-in customers. Food was delicious and the views were stunning. Would come back again in a heartbeat! Also very reasonably priced 👍🏼

Came here for lunch in mid June 2021 and had a wonderful time. The stand out dish was the "Croissant Terrine" - caramalised croissant terrine with dehydrated pancetta, salted pecan icecream and grilled bacon with maple syrup. This is such a creative dish; the richness and saltiness of the terrine/pancetta/bacon were perfectly balanced with the icecream. We also ordered the Reuben Sarnie and Zucchini Fritters which were also delicious. Service was friendly too. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful dining experience at MainStreet Cellar and Kitchen! Chef / owner Simon has designed a menu that clearly celebrates high quality local produce. We came here for a family breakfast to celebrate a special birthday. The highlight was the stunning smoked venison from a farm in Birdwood. That and the french toast, which is without a doubt to finest in Adelaide! Such a lovely atmosphere too.

We will be back to try the lunch and dinner menus!

Cute cafe, varied menu, friendly staff. They make a very good oat latte. Shared a reuben sandwich with chips - the rye was perfectly toasted and thin, the pastrami was tender and the pickles were delicious. Prices were fine for the serving size. Would definitely come again when visiting the Hills 🙌

I received a Scoopon voucher from my wife for Christmas and managed to finally use it today after two false starts due to Covid related closures at C & K. Thru the whole process Simon was brilliant to deal with and the wait was well worth it. The Paella dish was tasty and huge, so much so we took a generous leftover amount home with us. The staff member was well aware of the earlier cancellations and made our complimentary glasses of Pinot Gris (delicious) extra large and added some tasty salt and pepper squid complimentary with the Paella. The setting was lovely and the service first rate. We highly recommend C & K and will be going back as the rest of the menu looked delicious as well.

Eating here is like having friends lovingly host you at their home. The service is incredible and warm, you will feel welcomed. The food is fantastic, delicious and never boring. The chef is amazingly creative and skilled, its like nothing else you'll find in the Hills. You will absolutely have to leave room for desert though!

Such a lovely little spot! Went for brunch and had the Council House - beans, hash browns, eggs and venison ham. Food was amazing, great portion sizes and the coffee was beautifully made. Music provided the perfect ambience too, we had to ask the FOH staff for the playlist!

Today we enjoyed a fantastic, relaxing lunch and some sensational wine at this great family run vineyard, hidden away in a beautiful, hills setting. We chose a "Feed Me Banquet" which exceeded all expectations. Chef Simon took the time to explain each dish to us and we were well looked after by his friendly daughter Lizzie. Very reasonably priced, great food, comfortable warm fire and friendly service. Thank you for today and I would certainly recommend this venue.

Simon and his staff are fantastic! Not to mention the food is delicious and the coffees are excellent. Then when it's wine time, you can have a glass of tasty boutique Adelaide Hills vino. What's not to like!

Came here with my boyfriend and we both had a lovely lunch. My boyfriend had the mushroom risotto and he loved it. Tried the blueberry coktail and it was AMAZING. Staff super friendly and quick.

Came here with kids on a Sunday arvo, sat on the couches and enjoyed wine, cheese and a few games we'd brought along. The chef and his daughter made us feel right at home. Excellent service with the family going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend, wonderful experience.
