Top service and very experienced mechanic! Brendan went out of his way to diagnose & solve my engine trouble when passing through Alice Springs. Highly recommend. (He also rebuilt my engine 9 years ago after a timing belt failure before google ratings existed. Best mechanic in Alice Springs) I’d give 6 out 5 stars for his service if I could!

My sincere thank you to all the team at Country Diesel Maintenance & especially Brendan who worked on my Pajero Sport 4WD recently - which had a fuel contamination problem. Brendan is absolutely very busy & run off his feet but kindly made some time to help me with the serious problem. Everyone at Country Diesel Maintenance are truly professional, polite and helpful. We had limped into Alice Springs with car issues. First thing Monday, Brendan diagnosed it was a fuel issue ( dirty diesel) in all the years , I have never had such exceptional service - 2nd tenon. He fitted us in and fixed the problem that day. The cost was fantastic. His work ethic and integrity isa credit this parents.Than you Brendan 🙏👍😊

Brendan and his team at CDR came to our rescue and at short notice. Diagnosed a non issue, which was good news, found a couple of real issues, replaced the rear, very leaky shocks, then gave us good advice which allowed us to continue East, across the Simpson Desert with confidence and home to Brisbane.

Had my Landcruiser serviced here after not being able to get into Toyota. Brendon ran me through the work done and gave great advice on an outstanding warranty issue. He was able to provide great detail and guidance, which is a rare occurrence these days. Would happily recommend these guys if you have a diesel 4wd that needs attention.

Picked up dirty fuel on my trip through NT and had to have filter changed. They were very helpful with advice and were able to fit me in straight away so we could continue our journey. Great price and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Had starter motor issues on my road trip, 4 hours out of Alice. Called ahead and they told me to come straight in when I hit town. 3 hours after dropping the car off I had a new starter motor and was back out on the road. Understandably not every business can prioritise travelers, so really appreciate how quickly you turned my car around. Experienced some injector issues while in Alice and Brendan fit my job into a busy day to help diagnose the issue. He explained everything very clearly to me and was patient with my questions and lack of mechanical knowledge. After having mysterious engine problems for months, Brendan and the team were able to diagnose and sort the issue out, where other mechanics were quick to quote for a new engine. The best and most honest mechanic I have been to, and reasonably priced too. Thanks guys!

Can not recommend Ashley and his team highly enough. Called in this morning on our way through as having problems with the Prado. Fitted us in straight away and had the problems sorted out in no time. Very professional.

After being messed around by Centralian motors for a month and quoted 10.5 k to fix a fuel pump then saying they didn't want the job took to CDM who inspected and found the problem to be the fuel filters. Problem solved in 3hrs.

Before I bought my rig l viewed four different candidate vehicles each one l googled the best mechanical inspection place in the area where my future rig was located..at around 200 dollars for a comprehensive pre purchase inspection one expects a list of repairs needed and what the overall opinion of the inspection equates to ... meaning how much are the repairs and is this vehicle worth the money....l with my inspection believed l could make a decision based on expert advice and while helpful the reports were never definitive or written in a way l as a higher end buyer was satisfied with...
In Alice Springs my son found what looked to be an awesome 80 series LandCruiser with a price of 14k
I already knew Country Diesel Maintenance did a good report but lm telling you these guys are next level the do the most comprehensive inspection and report l have ever seen.... Everything from controls running gear gearbox diffs lights engine gadgets as my son said if there was a feather stuck in there somewhere they will find it...
Cars are expensive in Alice Springs and maintenance is important in the harsh condition of the desert these guys are very thorough and precise easy to understand and good people who like their jobs and are very good at it .
I highly recommend Country Diesel Maintenance for your diesel services 5 stars ...buy the way they found so many things wrong with that 80 series they not only saved my son 14 K of problems also that this rig was not road complient due to illegal lift and non engineering of suspension l would never have known that they put a value of 3 K on the vehicle as it was set up.... Fully worth the pre purchase inspection ....

The mechanic is really nice,help me test the car and find out the problem and recommend me to autofit88 to fix all the problems,didn’t charge me for test.totally helpful,reliable professional and friendly person,will come back if my car need any maintenances in the future,thank you so so much.
