Wongungarra Alpine Ski Club

Very easy to get to the slopes from here. Really nice club members I meet when I stayed here for the past 3 years. Right across from Frosty Drop so if the now is good, no need to take the snow bus to the village. Located at stop 7, near BigD slope where some ski lessons are happening. Nice a warm throughout the lodge, adjustable temperature in each room, hot shower, free wifi, good size beds mostly queen size. Intending to stay there every time I go to Hotham.

It has an ample number of well appointed and extremely comfortable private rooms and common shared facilities. Moreover it provides bunkrooms at affordable rates, it fosters a new generation for skiiers to come to Mt Hotham, ensuring the future of the sport for the next generation. Nowhere else in Victoria's high country provides such an amazing experience for this price point, it's in a class of it's own and I hope to keep on going to Wongongarra for many seasons to come.

Excellent location at bus stop 7! Flat walk to the lodge. Amazing Managers with fun members always wanting to welcome outside guests. Best views across the valley with a new industrial style kitchen, open plan dining room and lounge area. Bedrooms are very conformable with built in robes and fluffy doonas. Bathrooms clean and functional. Best drying room on the mountain! Kid friendly too. Give it a go you won't be disappointed!

I love staying at this lodge each time I am at Mt. Hotham. The communal lounges and kitchen is great with lots of friendly and welcoming faces always around. There is also a great view of the surrounds from the lounge room!

Endless bushwalking options for all levels of ability. Masses of wildflowers everywhere you look.

Great location right near Jack Frost and the view out the back is stunning. The managers are superb and so accommodating. They make you feel like family.

Nice lodge, great location just behind Jack Frost. Great big windows at front in dining area allowing for beautiful views and people watching ❄
