Marouka Lodge

I stayed at the lodge for several nights whilst completing the Australian Alps Walking Track. Cannot recommend highly enough. Emily and Andrew the lodge managers - were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The best place for bush walkers and friendly family environment. (Bonus drying room and washing machine for AAWT hikers)

I first stayed at Marouka probably 40 years ago and not much has changed - but then again, not much needs to! Both the booking officer Mike and the lodge manager Renee have been super helpful. Great place to stay at Hotham, good to be back again.

Quiet, relaxed community feel in an old comfortable lodge with immediate access to downhill and cross country skiing. What a wonderful place!

Great little Lodge. Built in the 60s I reckon. So not the most modern and most rooms with shared facilities. When full can be pretty crowded. So not the place for everyone. Generally a friendly place and quiet. This is not a party Lodge and is frequented by mainly older quieter people. Close to Jack Frost and the bus. Good views of the road and up the valley

Great place to stay at Hotham.
All types of rooms ranging from dorm to double bed with ensuite.
Everything you need. Store room, drying room, great kitchen and lounge. No TV which is wonderful.
Very short walk from Jack Frost and Hotham bus bay No. 7.
