Morwell Motel

We have stayed here in May 3 times now and love that when we arrive our rooms are warm and inviting.
The beds are super comfortable and I love the full size toiletries supplied and that they are environmentally aware.
The little touches such as the coffee machine and the little chocolates are always an awesome touch to weary travellers.
As always the breakfasts are great with a huge spread to suit everyone.
The rooms are always spotless and tidy and best of all quiet.

Really nicely renovated rooms for the price. Comfy king size bed, good size fridge and toaster/kettle/pod etc. Bathrooms a bit tired but perfectly serviceable. Breakfast was busy but well stocked.

Strongly recommend to coffee lovers! Nespresso coffee machine with milk froth in the room as well as in the breakfast area - upgraded Nespresso coffee machine. Breakfast is included in the room fee.

Had an amazing stay at this motel! You can feel all the furniture around the rooms are beautifully selected and very comfy high mattress bed which is really good for elderly or people with back pain.

Refillable , high quality hand wash, shampoo and conditioner etc. Size of fridge was excellent not too small not too big and detergent was provided to wash cutlery. It's really beautiful place to stay. Definitely we will come back. The host was well mannered and the cleaner did a perfect Job!!

Also beautiful outdoor plants are decorated in front of each room!

They never disappoint, very comfortable king sized bed. ample tea & coffee fresh milk available at reception.
Very obliging management.
Excellent complimentary breakfast so much to choose from.

Although the matrice was a little soft for us, the room was excellent.
Complementary breakfast was great with gluten free options for those that need that
staff was amazing as we had to move our booking due to my son changing the date of his party.

Great motel. Rooms are serviced daily nice, neat and clean. Lots of space to move around. Basic appliances provided: kettle, toaster and microwave. Friendly staff.

Beats most motels on quality and price. Best of both worlds. Awesome interior . Love the matching bed frame to roof. Guy on the counter was awesome! Woke up too late to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Given the price seems generous to get it In the first place. Definitely stay again

Clean, comfortable big bed. Walking distance to the main part of town.

From the outside it may not look like much, but the room inside is very well taken care of. The wifi works well and the bed/room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a nice setup.

Great stay. Clean rooms, nice toiletries, coffee machine with kitchenette and good sized fridge not that we needed it but i can see the benefits. Good continental breakfast-would definately be back to explore the lovely region again hopefully with more time. Thanks Rod

Our only comment is the lack of a wardrobe or coat hangers. Otherwise, there were lots of thoughtful touches, like a coffee pod machine and chocolates. Breakfast room is great with plenty of choices and pleasant atmosphere. Conveniently located to Aldi and take away stores. Bed is great too.

Great accomodation! Couples Rod & Annie are awesome managers who made my stay very comfortable. Felt so rested after each days hard work in their clean & quiet motel. They have complete basic amenities such as microwave oven, portable barista, china wares & utensiles. Will definitely come back when I get the chance.

Our second stay here. We have stayed in various others around the area, however find this is the best so far. Clean, fresh smelling, Comfy King Bed, little personal touches such as heater on when we arrived and enjoyed the chocolate (thank you), reasonably priced, easy to find and great continental breakfast. We will return as often as needed. Thank you

We have stayed here at least 20 times over the past year under sad & difficult circumstances.
But Rod & Annie have always made our stay a pleasant & relaxed one.
The motel is extremely clean & the beds so comfortable (we have slept in 5 different rooms=all great) Luv the complimentary chocolate !!🍫 😀
The breakfast room is bright & sunny 🌞 Lots to choose from (wonderful yoghurt bar) And the new coffee machine is a early morning plus !

Stayed here for 2 days in a King Room. Very Clean. Bed was Super Comfy. Everything you would need provided and extras. Continental Breakfast was Fantastic. Management were very welcoming. I would definitely Recommend and stay again if i was down that way.

Stayed here for 7 nights while working in Morwell.
Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Full size fridge/freezer.
Complimentary breakfast, choccies and bottled water.
Staff are friendly.

Definitely will stay here again on my next trip!

Firstly, this property is not a Hilton or other big brand so we need to be realistic.
I could not be happier with what this property delivered.
Communication from the host's was excellent, the property has a nice quirky decor, the bed was very comfy, a coffee pod machine was in the room.
And then there was breakfast. Self service in the dining room, the continental breakfast featured a good range of choices and again a pod machine and milk frother that you could use until you got to caffeine overload, several cereals, different types of milk, fruit, bread, pasties and so forth. Seriously, you couldn't ask for more.
Some might say "but there isn't a swimming pool" - fair enough but for me it's a 10/10 place to stay.
I can't really say much about the location as we drove there and the only place we walked to on the night of our stay was the Chinese Restaurant just 2 or 3 minutes away. If location is critical, you may need to check before you book.

So now I'm going to get picky but it's certainly not to detract from the property.
I like towels, big towels to wrap yourself up in. +1 likes a few towels especially if she's going to wash her hair.
Only two smallish towels were provided but for us it wasn't a real issue as we always carry our own extras, so maybe bigger/more towels.
If you want more than 1 coffee each you are out of luck until breakfast as only 2 pods were in the room. Again for us not an issue as we travel with our own pod machine so had plenty of pods.
We did try and connect our Google Chromecast to the TV but it didn't work - apparently there's some sort of setting on the hotel wi-fi that prevented this. As we wanted to stream from a phone to the TV, this was really our only disappointment.

Stayed over here to work on the next day with a late check in@around 11 pm.
The owner is so thoughtful with an informative text message regarding the key and breakfast. I was so touched when I walked into the room on a freezing night; realising the owner kept the air con on made the room so warm and cozy!
It’s the best motel in Morwell for sure. I will definitely come back on my next personal trip.

I travel quite a lot in VIC, and this is one of the best accommodations booked lately. Clean, well equipped little kitchen and very comfortable bed and clean white bedding...
Little touch with a chocolate. Off the street patking in front of my room. Highly recommended.

A very nice room with a comfy bed and great amenities, including a coffee machine and eco friendly toiletries, the service was friendly and efficient, and there was a good range of items for breakfast, will definitely stay here again!
