Lots of parking space for your B doubles, buses etc.
Chicken schnitzel burger was tasty decent sized and well priced.
Toilets were clean and well maintained.
Also have showers.

Older style regional roadhouse, great staff, super tasty Aussie road food ready to go, at very reasonable prices. Not a sleek modern place, doesn't need to be, enjoy the difference. Love it, A+++

Last time I went there was around 3 years ago and the staff were really friendly, they had amazing quality food for reasonable prices and they were always stocked up on all items they sold very rarely you could find an empty shelf or a damaged product on the shelf. They were also very accommodating if you wanted a sandwich they ran out of they would try and make you one if they had the supplies or you could get a freshly cooked bag of chips on request. It was always very tidy in the store and never any rubbish bins over flowing or litter around the store.

If your in the mood for classic Roadhouse/truck stop greasy salty but delicious food, then stop here for sure. Down to earth people no bells and whistles, great for stopping in a road trip to fill up (both you and the car)

Pleasant and friendly. Reasonable fuel prices and heaps of fried or cold food. Tried out "Sam's juice" and wow yummo

This place really is a do not judge a book by its cover. It may look very old and a bit weathered on the outside but within lies a diamond of a place. The people who run it are great and so is their food. It is my go to for breakfast when I have not had time to get it at home. You can dine in here as well. This roadhouse has been going for an incredibly long time. It was running when my dad was a little kid. He is in his 60’s now. Here’s to another 60 odd years of great food and service from Batesford Roadhouse. Highly Recommended.

Great Coffee, MASSIVE Breakfasts! I ordered the BIG Breakfast ($13) It was HUGE! I couldnt finish it! Very friendly service. We will be back. :)
