Capital Bistro

Dinner 27.5.23. Purely by luck we think we were on the best table in the bistro. We were in the back far corner, furthest from the door. Our table had subdued lighting and we were away from the main open plan part of the bistro, giving us a space where the four of us could easily talk and be heard. The service was friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We went with the two course special meal offer and as much as we'd have loved to have had dessert, we were comfortably full. We'd happily dine here again when in Horsham. Best to book.

Found this place by accident after a day in the Grampians. The staff was super friendly, the food excellent and we felt really welcome. Can highly recommend :)

Great cafe style food. Excellent service from the staff. Miss 5 year old had a meltdown cause the salad on her plate was touching the chips and nuggets. The lovely waitress got a new plate minus the salad. Highly recommended if you're after a light lunch that's licensed.

It's a nice surprise to see and eat a quality meal in a pleasant and comfortable environment. Worth reporting and sharing with everyone.

We, a group of 8, found and went here on way back from Adelaide to Melbourne in July.

My burger ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ was nicely made, patty was succulent, bread tasted freshly made, and the chips with pinch of salt on top....Oh so satisfying! 😋😋😋👍👍👍

Everyone of us were very pleased with their food.

Lovely food all round. The lamb rack was delicious, watermelon in the salad was a bit odd, but didn’t not work! For desert, the little key lime pie was so great. Well presented, great service. 5/5

Excellent food. Friendly staff. On road parking available. Clean and tidy toilets. I am travelling from New Zealand and would definitely recommend this place. ❤

The staff was really nice and happy to change and/or modify my plate to my wishes. I eat gluten and dairy free. So it was an amazing experience. Service was quick. They have an open kitchen where you can see how clean and tidy chefs are. The bathroom was clean as well which I appreciate highly. The atmosphere is quite pleasant as well. Well recommended

We were lucky enough to get a table when they are only allowed to have 10 people in the venue at a time. We squeezed in three amazing courses during our two hour booking !

This place can use the title "Fine Dining". Our 3 courses were delicious and so perfectly presented. Classy modern setting, quick and welcoming staff. And the creme brulee was just delightful.

As always a very good meal, cooked well, fast and friendly service with a busy restaurant which shows the venue is consistent and good at what it does

Only place in Horsham open Easter Saturday and we didn’t think to book a table… silly decision on our part. However the team found a table for us happily even though they were packed. The food and coffee didn’t take long at all even after warning us it might. All the staff were AMAZING!!!!! Thank you for squeezing us in… even when you didn’t have to.

Definitely the nicest/new and fresh feeling place in town as the bistro has been recently renovated. It’s got a lovely vibe and the staff were very nice. It no longer has tablecloths however this was not noticeable.

The food was some of the best we have had in a while. The lamb was very tender and full of flavour and the salmon was melt in the mouth.

The $50 two course deal was great value and included a drink. We had a table of 10 on Friday night and we were very well looked after.

Bookings are essential as it’s a very popular spot.

We had breakfast here. The food and coffee are fresh and good, and service friendly. The furnishing are new and comfortable and there is a drive through service as well!
After checking out other options we recommend here!

Rissto is awesome, and the appetizer is also delicious. Lemon tart with ice cream is very favorable.

I had their special $50 2 course meal. Even though my steak was cooked medium rare the surface was a bit overcooked and tasted a bit like charcoal. However the highlight of the meal was the Sticky Date Pudding. The BEST I've ever had and will go back here just for that (so please don't take off the menu Capital!😁)

Decided to go to Capitol Bistro tonight with our friends and was pleasantly surprised. We all loved our meals which included entrees, mains and dessert. Staff were warm and friendly especially Danielle. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful night.

Had a lovely night, great meal. We had the Scotch Fillet and Pork Belly and would definitely recommend although the Parma and salad looked and smelt beautiful as it passed by!
The atmosphere is was perfect with soft music playing in the background and the service was spot on.
