Excellent showcase of history of George town and surrounds. Terrific insight to he Convict women were treated. Colourful display of bar stools, and fill dressed in traditional clothing of different countries.

Terific old gaol with a fabulous model of the town back in early 1800s. Lots of George Town history & an amazing display of local artists paintings, craft, books etc.

Nice little museum with a model village showing what the town would've looked like. The gallery of nothing was clever.
Man at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable.
Worth a look if you're in town.

I thought there would be more but it was still interesting and we found out about the arrivals and departures mothers and babies, so very, very sad.
