The Bakery

We had our morning coffee at the The Bakery and it did not disappoint. The line was out the door but moved quickly and once we were at the counter it was clear we needed to order food as well.

The display of sour dough and creative treats was amazing and the staff were super helpful and friendly. This place is a gem in Alice Springs.

Incredible macaroon, shockingly flaky danish for mid afternoon, very solid kangaroo pie and salmon bagel (get it toasted!). Cool, classy, understated furniture and nice art on the walls. I don't normally get excited about bakeries, but this one is a true class act.

Fantastic sourdough bread, crusty on the outside and excellent ‘crumb’ inside. I bought it and took it with me through Kings Canyon and on to Uluru and it stayed fresh the whole time. This bread rivals anything you would find in Sydney or Melbourne.

Some of the best pies, bread and sweet treats you'll ever get your hands on. Go early if you want to have lots of choices - they do sell out of things!

What a gem! Yes yes, on the “pricey” side (but not really) but worth every cent! The chunky steak pie was delicious and the pork sausage roll was so freshly made that you can taste the butter in the pastry! Missing the big city at home but this place sure rocks over some of the bakeries in Perth. Their almond croissant was so flakey and buttery - definitely coming back for more!

A sweet tooth for pastries or lunch on a tasty meat pie, why not try freshly made sandwiches whilst enjoying a barista coffee.

What a treat. Freshly baked pastries galore and great coffee - the almond croissant was perfect sustenance after a long day of hiking!

The best pies, pastries, breads and bloody great coffee… EVER!!! We came by yesterday at 1pm and everything was sold out. It was suggested we get here by 8:30am for the full selection including fresh made Portuguese tarts. We’ll DEFINITELY be back before we leave Alice. Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Great little bakery cafe had great selection of food and drink. They even had Lincolnshire sausage rolls which was a great little find on the other side of the world! Really friendly and accommodating staff!

-Chicken Pie: the pastry was perfect buttery yet crisp. The filling container chunks of chicken submerged in a rich savoury filling of life heaven. No sauce needed ...just perfection.

-bakewell tart: don't overlook this simply beauty. She looks plane Jane but she ainght. She is filled with quality Almond paste filling accompanied with scrumptious raspberry jam. A very sophisticated delight.

-peanut and chocolate biscuit: don't let the sheer size out you off ...it's a perfect ratio of biscuits and filling.
-2 flat whites: the coffee was on point ♥

Every item and each morsel was truely delicious. We absolutely loved our bakery experience. A perfect way to end our trip.

Real nice cafe nice vibe good hot pies - big ups the roo pie - up the dons also. Staff were really lovely and nice outdoor seating in the morning. Only downside is that the outdoor area doesn’t get any sunlight til later in the day :s
