Relaxed old railway station cafe with great food that keeps us coming back whenever we are staying in town. I had the gluten free granola - so good l bought a bag to take home & hubby had poached eggs on homemade thick hash brown.
Both were delicious!

stopped by on our way out of melbourne. the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible (thank goodness we got in before the kitchen closed!) the coffee was very nice as well.
if you're looking for a spot to fill up and recharge on your interstate trip, i highly recommend this cafe!

Came here for brunch and sat out on the platform. We ordered the Hash Brown Eggs Benedict & the Fish Tacos. The photos don't do them justice but the hash brown Benedict was amazing! I've never had beetroot hummus but it was incredibly refreshing. The hash brown was enormous. Very crispy on the outside but light on the inside. Eggs were perfectly cooked.
The fish tacos were very tasty.
The size of the food was huge & we had to take some home.
As good as any Melbourne cafe. Can't wait to go back and try some other options.

We were heading to Melbourne and stopped by Wodonga for a night. Our host strongly recommended us to this Cafe. It’s very family friendly cafe, a lot of open space around the cafe and a small playground nearby for kids to run around. Excellent food and service. A gentleman came to take our orders
and knew we’re sharing, the food arrived with the sharing plates (we usually need to make another request). Definitely recommend to those who have young kids.

This is our second time here, as a stop over driving back from Thredbo to Melbourne. We love this place, it’s as good as any cafe in Melbourne, with fantastic food quality, great coffee and drinks and fabulously lovely staff. Very kid friendly as well!

Rating this for breakfast only as have not eaten lunch here. It was a packed sunny Sunday morning and we had not booked and there was a group of 6 of us and we were able to be seated. Awesome rustic feel as it is in the old railway station. Customer service was very very good. Food turnaround time was brilliant for how busy they were. Everyone enjoyed their food. The coffees were excellent. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff even though they were extremely busy that morning with the Market attracting additional people to the area than normal.
Would definitely visit them again !

The converted Old Wodonga Train Station was great.
Hopefully the trains will be running again by next time 🚂 🤨

Where to go on a quiet Monday for lunch, we thought we would give the Bean Station a go and boy are we glad we did. I'm sure all the meals on the menu are good but I had the Chicken Katsu bowl and it was outstanding. Go here just to try this meal.

I think that this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes I've ever been to, love the unique setup of the place and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. Customer service from our waiter was excellent. Chefs did a fantastic job with the food, it came out relatively quickly, tasted so heavenly and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. Taste and quality of the food is definitely what you pay for and you won't be disappointed. Had a great first visit here and definitely won't be my last! Will come back when in the area again

Stopped in Wadonga on the way to Melbourne to refuel the car and so glad we decided to refuel the body too. Great coffee and cake in a lovely clean cafe. Public toilet facilities next door was very convenient and clean too.

We were positively surprised. The food was really good. Waiting time also wasn’t long, the breakfast juice of the day was also nice. Probably the best breakfast place in town.

Every time, every meal is Creative! Still my fav place. Terrific plant based and clever meat dishes. Not extensive menu, but quality is five star. Staff are well trained which is a nice change ;)

Wodonga Bean Station is the perfect stop for lunch or coffee on the drive down the Hume to Melbourne.
It’s very close to the on and off ramps for the freeway, so it doesn’t take long to find, and the food and coffee comes out fast.
Menu is a mix of burgers and salads and it’s all excellent.
Serves are huge, and the coffee was good.
There’s plenty of parking right out front, and the setting is a lovely renovation of an old railway station.

Highly recommend if you're in Wodonga. Delicious food. Terrific coffee! They were busy but we still received our coffee and food quickly. Good service. Lots of room. The town has done up their old train station into a great little precinct.

Portion sizes will satiate most hunger pangs, and the quality of the food will put a smile on even the most hardened food critic's face. Seating is copious and varied, both inside and out. The outside area also has heaters for those colder mornings. This cafè makes great use of Wodonga's railway history and brings life to the area once again.

One of a kind and first class, a very unique place to enjoy a meal. I found my dish to be very rich, I’m not a meat eater but they could’ve suggested spinach instead off ham. My dish came with lots of ham anyway. Having said that the atmosphere was very nostalgic. All it needs is a steam train and this cafe will be one major tourist attraction in Wodonga.

Great spot for breakkie or lunch. Perfect eggs and top notch coffee. Will be back. Our goto when in town.
