The food here is extremely good, so tasty and the staff so friendly, you can tell they pride themselves with the quality of the ingredients.
Has to be one of the best finds while visiting Yarrawonga and highly recommend a visit.
It is hidden down a little alley but there's a sign there, you can't miss them and there is plenty of room at the back to sit.
We had the pulled pork tacos and chicken bao, both were great

Gorgeous flavours, healthy and fresh. I had the tandoori chicken souvlaki, delicious. The other was just as nice.. highly recommended.

Fantastic hidden gem. We followed the sign down the long skinny alley to discover the best street food in the area. Service was friendly, fast, and cheery.
We started with a light lunch in mind but the pork tacos and fish tacos were so tasty we went back for more. A quick trip to the counter and we had Korean spicy sticky wings and cauliflower tacos. Lunch was then the main meal of the day and well worth it!

Fresh, healthy, delicious, well-made food! I feel like this quality of food is few and far between in the local area and I’m very happy I’ve discovered this place.
I tried the corn, pork belly bao and fish tacos - all were lovely. I would love to see this place have an in-doors eat in area, especially for when winter comes but for now they have a cute courtyard.

TL;DR: Good food, from good people.

With a lanway entrance from Belmone St The Cook & Co feels like a hidden oasis along the often chaotic main road of Yarra.
when we arrived the staff were excited to tell us all about the menu, and specials.
there was a very contagous sense of pride.

the menu is an eclectic collection of street foods creating a unique, and versatile dinning experience.
plenty of options to cater for the pickiest of eaters to the more adventurous.

we wanted to try a few of the menu, and settled on the the karaage Boa which was light, and flavourful with a satisfying crunch. The street corn, and loaded nachos both of the former being creamy, cheesy, and delicious.

Staying for a wedding in Yarrawonga the food was so exceptional here I came for lunch twice. First meal was the tradie pack (bah mi and tacos platter) and then I had the Laska today, both were fantastic. Do yourself a favour and check it out!

OMG. Fantastic. The food is superb. Quiet setting. Well hidden so only those in the know will know. Only discovered today after so many locals have said how good. Will become my favourite eatery in Yarrawonga

Street food done right! What an absolute delight. 10/10 meals at a brilliant price point. Follow the little alleyway down from the kebab place in the main Street. You won't regret it. 😁😁😁

Happily stumbled accidentally into this laneway to find a vegetable patch, green grass under a shady tree behind a tiny kitchen to eat our Asian inspired Street food absolutely delicious & so fresh 😍💯
