James' Camping Reserve

Nice quiet place to camp. No water or toilets. Running creek and quiet bushland make this a pleasant spot

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot! Lovely flowing creek, friendly magpies, lots of butterflies, clean long drops (BYO TP), plenty of level ground, handy firepits and picnic tables. Lovely 5km unsealed drive into camp.
Something ate half of one of my thongs during the night so stash shoes away while you sleep. 3 setups in two nights ago and a few trucks dusting the area as they drove past this morning.
1km walking trail along the river up to the lookout which was steep but fairly easy and well worth the spot up top to sit on the rocks!

Lovely little off grid camp, not many spaces, so not heaps of people. Fire pit and table at each site. Long drop toilets, clean but lots of spiders. Creek cute and cold.

Absolutely love this reserve. Quiet beautiful spot. Great for dogs to run around.

Great spot to get away. Large area for the kids to play and rocks to climb next to the creek. Kids enjoyed trying to catch yabbies and lizards. Plenty of 4x4 tracks for exploring. Park ranger usually stocks up wood at camp sites but can run out fast if there other campers. Can get busy peak times which means you might have to share fire pits.

Nice secluded spot, well maintained area, plenty of room, lots of shaded area, well protected from wind, sound of creek flowing is relaxing

We arrived in the afternoon and there was no one there. Only late at night two more cars arrived.
We made a pit fire 🔥 and saw the rise of the full moon 🌕 So much light! It was beautiful.

During morning hours I found a four leaf clover 🍀
This is your lucky place, trust me!

Nice place far enough away from the highway to have peace and quite but still accessible. I like the fire pits as they are low to the ground and have sturdy racks to hang over them. It is a gravel road into the camp area but accessible by 2wd

Another highlight of my offgrid adventure. It's just so beautiful, tucked away in a quiet valley surrounded by vast forests that were not incinerated during the last round of bushfires.

Great little reserve,no facilities ,except a few fire pits and long drop toilets,Well maintained.

great campground. easy access heaps of firewood in the area but get in early as spaces are limited

Peaceful place. Clean drip toilets thank you. Lots of birds and wildlife. Will visit again.
