Deli Bean Cafe

We visited this lovely local icon of a cafe twice during our stay in the district. I was staying with my sister-in-law who frequented it as a child when it was a local deli. The barista is a top operator, the food well prepared, home made and tasty. We had orange cake and muffins. We sat outside in the delightful Alfresco surrounded by sunshine and citrus trees. ❤

The service was friendly. The drinks and cakes arrived quickly. The coffee was well brewed. My grand daughters said the red velvet cookies, and rocky road slices were delicious. My 11 yr old grand daughter said the hot chocolate was a perfect temperature and the foam art was a beautiful feather. There is a great combination of a retro cafe indoors and garden for outdoors.

Food was delicious I had the raspberry lemon meringue which was served with cream OMG it was the right amount of tang with that sweet raspberry with the swish melt in your mouth meringue then to drink I had a caramel latte with lactose free milk, and to be honest I could only fit a month full or two in so I am so glad I said I would like it in a take away cup.
The person I was having morning tea with had the choc cherry slice and I did try a small piece of that and it was very Similar to a cherry ripe.
The atmosphere outside, which is where we choose to sit was lovely, we were surrounded by gardens watched butterfly flying around and a gorgeous bubs across from us.
The staff were very friendly and served us efficiently

The Deli Bean Café offers fantastic, friendly and speedy service, with high-quality food to boot. Their pricing reflects this, providing a perfect example of 'you get what you pay for'.

Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available, with the venue managing to provide a relaxed and cosy yet polished atmosphere.

They offer an all-day breakfast menu, with several menu options for varying dietary needs. They also offer a variety of both dine in and take away foods and goods, with the latter ranging from soups, sandwiches, foccacias, bakery goods and relishes, to name a few.

It is truly a great venue for all ages, and I would happily dine here again.

Great coffee, lovely brekky/brunch and cakes/slices. Fast service. Frequently busy which is always a good sign. Has a lovely shady outdoor garden area to eat in with citrus trees. The only downside is the opening hours, but I can't blame the owner for wanting to have a life.

Brought a takeaway ham and bacon roll
Delicious! The tomato relish was full of flavour, the egg wasn't over done, but also not runny so it's easy to eat takeaway, and the focaccia bread was very fresh

The staff was also very friendly
Will be visiting again in the future!

Basically there every day, never had a less than exemplary experience.

Only issue I have with the Deli Bean, is it's closed on Sundays. Otherwise it's perfect 👌

The ladies here are always nice and service is wonderful. Coffee is strong and tastes great. There's a great deal here for $9.50 for coffee and egg and bacon roll. This time I didn't order that though. I got the BLAT (bacon, lettuce avo, tomato) on turkish. Delish!

Lovely cosy place for breakfast and lunch or BRUNCH. 😊 Outside seating is chill and comfortable, especially in a sunny beautiful day. 🌞

Always know what you are going to get. Even when it was busy and short staffed the meals game quickly and were good.

My wife and I stopped by here this morning for breakfast and after one meal it's now our favourite cafe. The building is just beautiful, the staff, ambience, coffee, and food outstanding. We are very happy that we travelled the extra five minutes off the freeway to eat here, and will do so every time we go to and from Melbourne from now on.

Great cafe and always friendly staff. Love their coffee - up there with the best in Wodonga. Tess has always been lovely and kind and I've seen her give food to an older lady who really needed the help, as well as check in on her health regularly. Above and beyond.

My absolute favourite breakfast place of all time, the staff are so friendly, the food is without a doubt amazing! I always get this veggie omelette it is seriously so tasty and beautifully made, it’s so hard to find a place to get a soy chai latte, and this place just hits the nail on the head, it’s so creamy and tasty, very underrated cafe but it’s fantastic!
