Hilltop Resort

Got a 10nights caravan experience at Hilltop Resort. Surprised that is was enquire sites all round, but it was great. We shared our 10nights with relatives and were able to set up opposite each other and then have our dog fence cover both vans. We had a great time. The resort is a little old but amenities were clean and just a short drive into town. We would go there again even for an overnight stop.

Thank you Hilltop Resort for letting us stay at your clean and service friendly rooms. We've been here a few times now with our big Dalmatian. Always a pleasure. One of few places that allow pets overnights! 🐶

Just a short 5 minute trip out of Swan Hill, a powered site WITH our very own onsuite for only $40 a night for a family of 6!!! Laundry mat onsite, lots of playgrounds and grass for the kids to run around. Quiet spot with beautiful veiws!

This place is what it is. We needed a place to stay on our way home from a snow trip and decided to give this place a go even though some of the critique here is scathing. From reading some of the feedback it seemed there were some “personal” differences disguised as assessment of the product. Overall this place was safe, clean, warm and convenient to our needs. We ventured into swan hill for dinner easily and it was nice taking the 5 min trip along the highway to see an awesome sunset you can also see from your room. No wifi, but you expect that in a large spread out area that was once a resort and now caters for caravaners beyond the rooms and nice options for motel style accomodation. These guys make an effort. The $50 charge for having a dog was realistic, needs to be mentioned that if staying up to 14 days these are covered by a one off $50 payment for cleaning after a pet stays. They also go to the trouble of creating an enclosed play area for your dog, don’t get that too often. Our room was better then motel standard, big bathroom, own kitchen, big tv and dining table. Motel prices with way more value. Choices of coffees, tea, cup a soup!!? Definition of making an effort, and made us feel like valued customers. Yes it’s no longer like the resort it once was but I think a lot of people have unrealistic expectations due to the title. Is what it is, a great option for a cost effective spot to rest up.

Nice n cheap pool is great dog pool even better 4 pets..

Great place to stay great price and powered sites with personal ensuites all of them no extra charge I strongly recommend you stay there.

The room was homely, the resort was so peaceful that we didn't feel like going any where as it was so relax full just sitting amongst the trees, the owner Jenny and Rowan couldn't do enough for you I have been here 3 times and because it is so relax full making another return in November this year and staying longer this time

Stayed 4 nights, ensuite sites, ensuites are roomy and had everything you would need. Green powered sight and quite park. Bit outdated needs a bit of TLC, otherwise a great park.

Went to see my daughter and grand-daughter here today. Loved every minute I spent with them. Decent amount of playgrounds at hill top. There is also a pen with kangaroos which come almost right up to you. Very nice place to visit is HILLTOP RESORT.

Our room was spacious, warm and comfortable and close to town.
We enjoyed feeding the horses, donkey
and kangaroos and the staff were lovely.
We would highly recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay. Very pet friendly, large pet friendly rooms and my dog absolutely loved the doggy pool. I honestly think this is a hidden gem and would definitely recommend it for pet owners

Needed a place that took pets, we have a cat and they were quite accommodating in our cat allowed free inside the room, unlike other places around that said the cat has to stay in a cage over night. Also could take the cat for walks, while on a lead. Very friendly staff at reception, and animal lovers as well. :-)

Had a truly amazing stay at this beautiful resort. Was to be there around a month and stayed for six the owners are the most friendly and helpful people ever and all the staff are the same ..... pet friendly and clean beautiful grounds well maintained just loved it Jenny thank you for absolutely fabulous time will be back most definitely

Fun and friendly family ... cute aussie animal farm with groovy photo ops, little train! BBQs clean spacious accommodation and an oasis of a cool pool. It has so much space.and is lovely and quiet. Whats not to like? Who needs shiny and brash when youve got a real affordable Aussie getaway. I'll be back with my floatie 😀

Had a great long weekend at Hilltop Resort. We stayed three nights, enjoyed a wonderful seafood dinner on Easter Friday, followed up by a delicious Sunday roast put on by the owners.

Hilltop Resort was a great place to base ourselves to explore the Murray River, Swan Hill and Lake Boga.

Definitely would recommend starting here.

The Room was very clean. staff very friendly and the price reasonable. definitely will come back stay again.

A very nice layed back environment & easy going understanding people that go the little but extra effort into making you feel welcome & comfortable thanks for the hospitality Hilltop Resort i just might come back 1 day ;)
