Uncle Bob's Estate

Stayed at Uncle Bob's B&B overnight after bikepacking from Linville via the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and link track. Thank for a great experience and your amazing hospitality. Amazing little oasis. Great outdoor area, outdoor hot showers, swimming pool, organic wine, dinner and dessert.

Stayed in an original old Queenslander for 3 relaxing nights at Uncle Bob’s cottage. Friendly couple welcomed us like family and we enjoyed exploring the mountain bike trails around this stunning area and a lovely organic red wine at the end of the day. Rod and Celia are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. So many highlights including a day trip to the Bunya Mountains. We would highly recommend a visit to Uncle Bobs cottage.

We've just spent a wonderful weekend at Uncle Bob’s Cottage, hosted by vineyard owners Rod & Celia.

Due to the drought (Nov 2021) there wasn’t any winemaking going on, but to our surprise, the area is very well set up for mountain bike riding!! Definitely worth a visit just for that! We had a couple of well signed loops (“NAN1” and “NAN2”) just on our doorstep. Rod knows more, just ask.

We pre-ordered dinner from our incredible hosts for a small fee (I believe they cater for all dietary requirements). I am fussy and can confirm that the food was good : )

Uncle Bob’s Cottage was simple and well equipped. The bed comfy (we slept amazingly well!) and we had access to the bbq and pool area.

There is an interesting story about the cottage captured in photos and writing - worth a look/read!

Overall very relaxed with birds and wallabies around, and as much or little interaction with the lovely hosts as desired (see: privacy respected).

Absolutely stunning property. Popped in for a quick wine tasting on our travels. Nice, friendly owners.
