I had picked up a few items and when I went to pay for them but the card on my phone didn't work. I tried multiple times, but it still wasn't working. In previous cases, cashiers would get frustrated but a lovely young lady was serving me and she was very chill.

In the end, I left the store with nothing and was heading back home, until the same cashier came running down the shopping centre with the items and said that they had paid for them. I couldn't believe it.

A few minutes after, I came and insisted to pay with my physical card, but they said not to stress and I couldn't be more grateful.

Will definitely be coming back because of that act of kindness!

was served by a lovely girl called hannah this evening. She helped me with selecting what to prepare for dinner with my family and we decided on the chicken giblets and roast veggies (which tasted amazing). All staff were so friendly and always happy to assist with any queries. I definitely recommend coming here for some great deals and excellent customer service!

Good selection of food & other things you might need around the house, basically a little Oasis in a not so interesting town.

The prices are great & chances are something you want is on sale; cashier's are sometimes distant but always put a smile on their face and treat you with respect if you reciprocate.

Just outside is a chemist, butcher, bakery, take away, coffee shop, odds & ends shop & a take away shop (which is a little bit pricey but I suppose you gotta make money)

I was served by a beautiful attractive lady named thalia, she served me then walked me to my car to make sure I was safe then drove me home then cooked me dinner and payed for my rent for me!!! Definitely worth coming here!

My fave local supermarket. It's comfortable, easy to access with plenty of parking

Nice place to shop. Doesn't take long to get what you need. Layout is easy to navigate. Stocks most of our favourite brands. Friendly service.

Great staff has everything

Very happy with the products they have, got some bargains recently.

I live closer to Newton Foodland but this store is fantastic. It has the largest selection of meats I've ever seen, even organic beef mince! Lovely marinated chicken breasts &
an extensive range of ready to heat meals. Lots of different brands to choose from in all aisles.

Great supermarket with LOTS of local products and very friendly staff. It may not be the cheapest supermarket, but I will pay extra to buy local. Amazing selection of Italian products as well, as Athelstone is still a very Italian area. Check out the butcher on the way out and you have an amazing selection of foods, as good as anywhere in Australia

Was a great place to shop. Just recently prices shot up unrealistically. Rollmops went up from $6.40 to $7.00. Still selling for $6.00 at all Woolworths stores. Foodland's profit margins seem horrific 😐🤢😐

My favourite foodland. Has a wide range of anything you'd hope for. Always tidy and staff are helpful.
Has a huge vegan range (would love the newer vegan quorn substitutes to come in).
Fresh fruit and veg are always nice.

Great store as it’s always quiet. Stocks a wide range of food that you can’t find at other stores.
You can still see remnants of Woolworths throughout the store as no major renos have been done.

Best supermarket ever. Lovely friendly staff. Plus being Romeo Foodland there is huge variety and lots of SA produce and foods. Always lots of good specials.

We are thinking of making it a regular shop on our list even though we will pass many supermarkets on the way from Hope Valley to Athelstone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a really nice experience.
